Ready to catch your roll?

This place has dozens of signs along the highway and after reading all of the hype, we just had to give it a try. Who could resist a restaurant where their claim to fame is that they throw rolls? Be prepared to eat when you come here. If you are a light eater, you might be overwhelmed. The food... read more

Known for the staff throwing delicious rolls to diners, my husband and I had an entertaining time with other family members. Of course, the young kids loved the place and gigantic mugs of pop. The food was OK -- nothing special -- and I left a little hungry. While the staff were entertaining, they weren't very attentive to tables. Good... More

If you are in the area you must take the time to eat here. Fun and different place you will remember forever. Plenty of parking and lots of seating inside. Home of the FLYING dinner rolls right to your hands. Every 15 mins the 'Roll Pitcher' is throwing out rolls to hungry folks. Kids love it! Food is good and... More

We were taking a trip south with no time constraints so we decided on Lambert's. We have been here several times. This was the poorest service we have had here. The pass arounds rarely made it to our table. Got most of them buying asking our waitress to help us out. Only person who was readily available was the waiter... More

Okay so as Dame Judy (Philomena) say's "The size of the portions". This place is crazy. I had the Deep Fried Smoked Jowl, with Turnip Green's and White Beans. I think there was 1 & 1/2 pounds of beautiful porky goodness on my plate, could not even think of finishing. Turnip green some of the best greens ever. Of course... More

A great country style restaurant with true yeast rolls like grannys. Share your meal or you will be stuffed beyond comprehension! The food was hot, plentiful and pretty good! Lots to do here, arcade for the kids and don't miss it when they throw the rolls.

Usually have good service and food here. For some reason, we had a 2 hour wait, the wait staff never once came and checked on us for refill and the food was not as good this time. Just seemed like everyone was pissed off at the world that worked there. Usually a good trip, I will go again.

I usually really enjoy this restaurant. The prices have increased & this time instead of my usual $13.99 Country ham dinner I opted to have their $9.99 BBQ pulled pork since that is always my favorite kind of BBQ. The friend I was with opted for this instead of her normal Chicken Strips. Oh my goodness! Never again!! The meat... More

Home of the throwed rolls. Golden brown bread "hot rolls" sweet what I call "delta syrup". I had the chicken tenders. They were good. I was afraid they would be dry or rubbery. They were fresh, juicy and crispy. I did not like the honey mustard but the ranch dressing stole my chicken tenders heart. Potatoes with onion and okra... More

Where you can laugh and have fun catching some huge famous rolls! Watch the train go around, or check out the license plates from state to state. Comfort foods passed around! Oversized drink mugs and home cooking. A truly fun country dining experience.. A must see, if you've never been to Lambert's Cafe!
