We took a road trip from Texas to Illinois and had to make a detour to eat here on the way. The food, prices and service were all good but what really got everyone excited was the thrown rolls. My kids asked for rolls every chance they got just so they could try to catch em. A fun family eatery.

Always a treat to visit the home of thrower rolls. Never leave dissatisfied or hungry. An American classic for road food and a must stop for serious eaters.

We eat here once or twice each year. We ate at the Foley, AL one day and on our return trip home, we stopped at this Lambert's. It was clean, the food was excellent. The staff were crabby, bored and unresponsive. We had to ask for the

I can't imagine how people can give this place anything but 5 stars. Yes they employ a bunch of high school ages kids. Yes you will sometimes wait a while. But let me tell you, it is so worth the wait. Even if you don't think your food is beyond fabulous, all of the extras are. The rolls alone are... More

GIANT rolls- hot and fresh. Best rolls. The wait can be long so get there early. The serving of appetizers while waiting for food is unique-they just dip it out of a pail on the paper in front of you. The rolls are literally thrown across the room when you raise your hand, so be ready to catch it! Portions... More

The food is plentiful and ok. The price is $12-$25 range. The staff is great and make it fun. A honkey tonk pianist adds to the fun. You get an entree and 2 or 3 selected sides. Then big bowls of additional food are toted around by staff and, if you choose, plopped on your plate. Big, hot, soft yeasty... More

I love the food but the wait was horrible if you can stand the long lines go for it. The rolls were the best ever. They throw the rolls thats why they call it home of the thrown rolls you can get full fast just by the stuff they bring around to taste I didn't like the fact they only... More
