You Won't Leave Hungry!

My son always wants to stop here while traveling to visit my parents. He loves seeing the rolls flying and does his very best to catch one when it is was thrown his way. Oh, and the balloon he was given made him happy as well! The food is very good, and I have never had a bad dish. Everything... read more

Home of the "throwed rolls" which are all over the floor. The price seems kind of high on first impression but when you figure in all of the sides they are passing around it's not too bad. The food itself was quite good but the whole experience is an exercise in gluttony. I saw enough food wasted during our visit... More

Anytime we are on Hwy 55 we make it a point to stop at Lamberts. Was so disappointed with our last visit. They put us in a tiny booth when we have a little one that requires a high chair even though there were plenty of open tables. When asked if we could move we were told that the available... More

What a blast. Was there with kids and they had an amazing time. Be aware they do not take credit cards, but they have an ATM in the front. Love the "throwed rolls" and the pass arounds. The rolls were light and hot and the fried potatoes were amazing. I ordered the ham steak and the thing was huge. A... More

Place has great country food! Service was great! So much fun catching the rolls the kids will find this fun as well. We went on a Sunday at 1:30 and the wait does suck. We did not get in until 3. So go early or maybe later or be prepared to wait.

This place has the best atmosphere for whatever your occasion is....family or date. The food is home style and a lil bland, but its still good. This is the home of the "throwed roll" and they mean that literally. There are also several lil servers walking around with pots of different food. Just stop em and they will hook u... More

Great home cooked food and plenty of fun. Catch a roll.... it's awesome with apple butter and molasses. Lots of parking but you'll probably have to wait longer than at most restaurants. If you're in a hurry you might want to go elsewhere. But if you want great home cooked food in large quantities it's worth the wait. Friendly staff... More

We stopped to get cash on the way since Lamberts only takes cash or check. Entrees ranged from about $12-30 per person with the average being about $15. The entrees are southern fried entrees and ribs and the sides are traditional. Two sides come with most entrees and then they come around and spoon more onto your plate including fried... More

Great place to eat been here several times always love it. Today we got plenty of rolls. Had to ask for okra. We never saw any black eyed peas tomatoes and macaroni.we did get fried potatoes. They usually are out constantly but not this time. Kind of disappointed. That's why they got only 4 stars

I really don't understand those who gave this place a bad review. Our service was spot on, the food was great and the decor is fun. Portion size is large and if you want more they'll bring it to you. The potato and the macaroni pass arounds are delicious and all the pass arounds came by our table several times.... More
