Loved the food! It was my first time trying fried okra & I loved it! I had the BBQ pork sandwich & with all the pass arounds, it was way too much food! The drink cups are crazy huge! The employee kids were nice, friendly little food pushers! Always asking if we'd like more - rolls, okra, macaroni & apple... More

We used to visit Lambert's when we would fly in. This was the best way to go! They will come pick you up and shuttle you to the restaurant and back for free! I have always had excelent food and service on all of my other trips. That's why I'm keeping the four star rating. This time, we were a... More

I brought a group of 32 to Lambert's and given the touristy rep I had low expectations. Wow! Did they knock it outta the park! My entire group had a blast and the plates were so big I had to add air to the bus tires on the way home. We saw a line as we entered and were scared... More

OK, yes it is a bit of a gimmick, but the throwed rolls were large, hot and delicious. If you don't want to catch your rolls, they will bring them to the table. The food is very good and portions were huge. I love the "Old World" sides like pickled beets and cucumber and onion salad. The chicken pot pie... More

When in Sikeston, MO, you must try this unique homestyle restaurant. It's known as the 'Home of Throwed Rolls' and they're not kidding. The host comes out to the dining room and yells 'hot rolls', hands go up and rolls start flying. You won't leave hungry.

No dislikes.. it was great .. food was hot and a lot of it .. it is one of the only restaurants I can get fried chicken gizzards .. the pass-arounds (extras) were great and we left with a take home box full of food..

Husband and I had dinner at Lambert's. We had the chicken and dumplings and roast beef dinner. First notice was how cold the restaurant was. Even though it is the summer it is advisable to bring a sweater/jacket. The "pass arounds" were not so "pass arounds". Not all of the pass around servers were covering the floor. One server out... On our road trip to San Antonio TX, we stop overnight in Sikeston Mo. The friendly registration clerk at our hotel recommended the nearby Lambert’s for dinner. This was the first we had heard of it, but now we have been there twice not easy considering it is 400 mile from our home. What a pleasant surprise. Lambert’s very long... More
