It's about the atmosphere more than the food

Stopping here has become a family road trip tradition. The service is awesome, kids love having rolls throwed at them. Food: the fried food is good, feels homemade. Burgers are ok. Veggies are canned and nothing special. It's overpriced (worth it if you are big eaters though. ) we never eat it... read more

A group of us gather every year at the HUB, Marble Falls, AR. The past few years we have made Lamberts one of our lunch stops. The food is plentiful and delicious. Everyone enjoys catching a roll or two during the meal. Great service and the servers do a great job getting your food to you. Make reservations and don't... More

Ok, my family is from the south. I like "some" southern food, but you really, really need to LOVE southern, homestyle food to eat here. The "pass arounds" were black eyed peas & fried okra. They have hog jowl on the menu. I took a risk & ordered the chicken & dumplings. It was very can soupish & the dumplings... More

1st time at Lambert's and was a good time to try (late afternoon on a weekday)- no waiting and quick service. Our server had personality plus, and was a treasure. Food was in huge portions, and served quickly. Throwed rolls were awesome!! Gift shop was cool as well.

Good big meal to be enjoyed by all. The wait will try you, but you will not be disappointed once you get in side. Go hungry, leave full.

Lambert's Cafe is a blast every time! The food is delicious with a huge variety and more than you can eat! The pass arounds are fun to try, and the throwed rolls are to die for. I am not good at softball and I could catch the rolls, so don't worry if you aren't the best athlete. They will be... More

Seriously this place was awesome! Other reviews say the service is slow...it wasn't the fastest service ever, but the place is HUGE and people come from all over to eat there. Before we walked in, a group of 45 showed up, and you can't blame the restaurant for that. Anyways, it was so fun and family-friendly and I just can't... More

I knew Lambert's reputation, and I wanted this stop to be great. Alas... Service was slow. Our waitress was very friendly, but I guess she was spread too thin. The servers with the pass-arounds were largely devoid of personality, with a couple of notable exceptions. The young man pitching rolls was great. The food was so-so, at best. Like always,... More

The wait is well worth it. Instead of names you take a number and can sit on benches in the shade on the porch. There are ICE COLD drinks that are offered for sale while you wait. The waiter was extremely friendly, and took time to chat a couple of minutes. It only took 3 minutes from the time we... More
