I had been to this place a few times as a kid and had fond memories. I always wanted to take my own family here. What a huge disappointment. This is just a gimmicky tourist trap. The bread is good and everything else was overcooked or tasteless. We all got different items and sides and it was all bad. Really... More

Yummy food and far more than we could possibly eat. We had chicken livers and country fried steak - so much better than we've had in a long time.

Stop off on our way to Memphis. Massive portions of delicious southern cooking, really fun atmosphere that did not disappoint! Staff were always having a laugh with us (I think being English had something to do with it!) The staff keep bringing round heaps of yummy sides known as pass rounds which were all included with the meal. You really... More

Lamberts is a great place to eat, especially if you like good old style home cooked food. The portions are large and cooked like "mom" used to make it. Be prepared to wait in line as they do get very busy at certain times of the day and week.

Lambert's specializes in home cooking just like grandma used to make. My advice though is make sure you do not have a long drive planned afterward because you will want to rest, hold your belly, and ask "Why did I get that 3rd helping of potatoes?" Lambert's is a family business and it shows. Even if it is months or... More

We took our family to Lambert's Cafe and we loved it! We arrived around 6pm on a weekend and the line was a bit daunting. I figured we would be there forever waiting but was pleasantly surprised when we were seated within 30 minutes. There "old time" decor was neat and there was a lady playing ragtime music on an... Lambert's Cafe is a must visit, especially with the kiddos! The food is great, the service is great, the family style southern cooking is unique and the all you can eat "sides" are yummy. But the main attraction are the awesome, home made, throwed rolls! Our teens LOVED watching them throw rolls all the way across the room to your... More

I've visited here a few times and I've never left disappointed! The food is always really good. The country fried steak is my favorite. The pass arounds are really good...the okra and fried potatoes are my favorite. You definitely can't go wrong with the hot, fresh, rolls that they throw...delicious! The service is great and it's a fun atmosphere. I... More

First let me say that the real reason I stop here is for the atmosphere, been other times and know what I'm getting. You get large amounts of food, it's tasty, just not the best. I find they use lots of salt. I do have one very big negative about this meal, we decided to try the banana pudding. Very... More
