Family of four went to Sara's Creamery after recommended by family from the area. Cute old style creamery in downtown area. Ice Cream was very very good! Paid $9.75 for four one scoop cones. Did I mention how good the ice cream was! Would definitely stop here again when in the area.

Very good Ice Cream. We had some both days that we were in Sainte Genevieve. Will buy from there again.

Enjoyed some delicious shakes here. Loved the antique soda fountain equipment. And the prices were extra nice!

Great ice cream but short on smiles with no wasted words. Visited twice because we love ice cream. First visit we felt like we should apologize for interrupting server's day. Hardly a word spoken and that, only in response to ? about when season is busiest. Second, (apparently family member) garnered some passing comment about enjoying our visit as we... More

We were in the area today and was craving ice cream. I googled Ste. Gen and found this cute little shop. The ice cream cones we had were good, but they had a very small selection of flavors. It was ok. We love ice cream, so it did hit the spot.

We arrived shortly after the shop opened for the day. Not long after getting there another couple came in. Shortly after that a few more people came in and then two more. Within a short period of time there were 8 of us in this itty bitty shop. The teenage boy working behind the counter was nice and the milkshake... More

We stopped in here because it said antiques/ice cream shop and there aren't that many shops to stop in at. We thought they'd have antiques for sale, not just look at all these old antiques we have. It had a little soda fountain inside and since we walked in I got a chocolate malt. It was served in a styrofoam... More

Stopped for dessert after dinner. Great atmosphere. Baby cokes were cool! Reminded me if an old fashioned ice cream parlor.

With temps in the 90's, it only seemed natural to try Sara's Ice Cream. What a cute little place! It has a few tables and chairs inside as well as a few stools at the counter. I would imagine the stools would really have appeal to little ones. The day we were there, my husband and I had about 7... More

It's ice cream. How can you screw up ice cream? As good as most and a nice place to grab a cone. We are lucky to have it in Ste. Gen. Mostly school kids for help and nothing wrong with that.
