Local favorite apparently

Very good sandwiches, baked goods and coffee. Has a small gluten free menu. A little pricey in comparison to similar restaurants.

Great location and concept. Didn't stay because if salt and pepper shakers aren't clean, the kitchen may not be either. It's the attention to detail that tells you whether you're likely to enjoy the dining experience.

Also a good choice for lunch sandwiches or soup and really good desserts. Another favorite of locals for lunch. Many meet there for business lunches, not as noisy as other places.

Perfect place to stop for yummy coffee and dessert break....hard working owners who care about their work! The chocolate raspberry coffee was delish! Relaxed, comfortable morning or afternoon stop!

I come here when I come to town for business. Baked goods are homemade and very good. Owner is always friendly. Customer who I visit loves when I bring in goodies from the Fire House. Nice place in downtown Ste Genevieve worth visiting.

To say Sainte Genevieve preserves everything is an understatement. This restaurant is no exception...it's in an old fire station. How cool is that? Little has been done to transform it from it's original structure, but it is comfortable and warm. We went here twice on our weekend visit. The first time we ordered espresso drinks and bagels. My husband got... More

It's not really hidden! We walked by and thought it was a fire station and we wondered why there were tables and chairs outside. Right down the street from the tourist center, it's in an old fire station house. Great variety of brewed coffees, some desserts, sandwiches and salads. Lots of character because of the setting and friendly people at... More

Its in an old Fire Station... need I say more? Food is fantastic and features locally grown foods. You can't beat the atmosphere and such a great selection of coffees to keep you warm in the fall/winter.

We were traveling through Ste. Genevieve and decided to stop and have lunch here. It is walking distance from the welcome / visitor center, so we parked there and walked down the street. You order and pay at the counter and then sit down and they bring the food to your table. We ordered the Turkey Sandwich on Marble Rye.... More

Our group of twenty had lunch. I shared a chicken salad sandwich. It was pretty good but the highlight of the meal was the macadamia nut cookies. Awesome! Worth checking out.
