This is a local knock-off of The Outback chain, with lackluster effect. The food is over-priced because it is much lower quality in both appearance and taste. Portion sizes are also smaller than one might expect. The restaurant ambience is good and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I had dinner with a group of co-workers on a recent visit to Fort Leonard Wood. The restaurant seems to be a Outback wanna be. The service was good. Very friendly. The food, steak and sea food was not very good. The steaks, prime-rib and seafood that our table ordered was poor quality. The beef was overcooked and the seafood... More

Happy house here is one of the best in town. Buy one get one draft or well liquids. 4-6. I haven't had a bad experience here. From burgers, pastas, steaks, or appetizers it's all been cooked right and appetizing. I will come back again, very soon. The service was great and attentive.

Poor mans outback with similar prices. We tried their version of the blooming onion, and it did not have much flavor. The sirloin was a little tough for my liking. Nothing really special with this place. The service was good, and the bar area looked small but decent. Only one or two tv's in the place, so not good on... More

Please don't go here. I left this place wishing I had just spent my money at McDonald's . Service was ok I guess.

There are few restaurants in this area, and even fewer that serve steak. My prime rib was excellent as well as my wife's pasta. The service we had was the best we've had in the area - it was quick and efficient on a Wednesday night. It's such a relief to have a place to find good steak this far... More

Wife and I both ordered the Jack's Sirloin, and an onion bloom appetizer. We took two bites of the onion and asked the server to take it away and remove it from our bill, it was so bad. It had absolutely no taste. So here's a knock-off Outback restaurant who puts an onion bloom on their menu, KNOWING that customers... More

First of all over rated, took us 30 min just to have someone come and get out order, "not busy" and then we noticed a girl taking money then proceding on serving drinks and touching things w/o washing hands, looked towards kitchen and seen food handlers touching their faces, sneezing, coughing and not washing hands, switching from salads to meats... We have lived in the area for about 18 months and had never tried Aussie Jacks. It was closed for several months when we moved here. We decided to give it a try. When we entered the restaurant there was a strong smell of disinfectant. We were seated right away and our waiter was very polite and attentive. The decor... More

On Thanksgiving evening the majority of restaurants in St. Robert were closed. After attempting 4 or 5 choices we were headed to Ruby Tuesday when we noticed Aussie Jack's open. We were very short on time due to our son having to be back on base within 1 1/2 hours. Before being seated we asked if we could be served... More
