We had dinner at Lemp Mansion on 8/16/2014. The food was excellent and the mansion is very cool and nostalgic . We saw a murder mystery theater along with our meal. The mystery involves nearly all diners so be prepared for fun and involvement.

Besides being a great historic site, the Lemp Mansion has a colored history. While you are there, check it out. Sunday dinner starts by a friendly greeting from the Maitre d who has been on staff for more than a decade. Once seated in one of their breathtaking dinning rooms, you are served family style. Roast beef, ham, fried chicken,... More

I absolutely love the atmosphere and the history of the Lemp Mansion! I've eaten here with my family a couple of times and have been disappointed by the food and the service. My husband's beef wellington was terrific! I ordered some kind of chicken and it was just barely okay for the price. My daughter ordered a pasta dish and... More

Went there on a Sunday late afternoon/early evening. The place is truly breathtaking. Restaurant staff provided excellent service, loved the atmosphere. What we ate was delicious!! They did an fantastic job at restoring it. If you are in the St.Louis area you must stop by and eat/tour the place. You will not regret it.

The house is impressive as you walk up to it, surrounded by the long defunct Lemp Brewery. We were greeted by a friendly "greeter", and wandered past a couple of ornate room to our table in what may have been the original sun room. The house is really interesting. The Sunday lunch was excellent. Great chicken. Tasty sides. The price... More

We stopped for lunch and the meal was just okay. It was like dining in an old house - the women's bathroom was interesting w/ the big tub in the middle. The service was prompt and friendly, lines on the table. I had soup/salad - the St Louis dressing was simply a ceaser salad - my husband had a cod... More

The all you can eat, family style Sunday chicken dinner is a whole lot of great food at a reasonable price. The meal is down home goodness, not fancy or trendy. The fried chicken is crisp and tasty, the mashed potatoes whipped to perfection, the green beans are amazing; I could rhapsodize about everything they bring except the macaroni and... More

We enjoyed eating here, food was good, and the Lemp beer tasted great.i love being able to eat in a haunted mansion where there's so much history. We went on a week day so it wasn't that busy, I'm sure if you went on a weekend it would get pretty crowded and cramped. wanted to stay the night to add... More

Whenever we have out-of-town guests we always suggest the Lemp Mansion for their Sunday Brunch. Plenty of food and great atmosphere. Never had a bad meal there.

I recommend the Lemp Mansion if you are looking for a great place to do a murder mystery dinner, or if you're into the "ghost hunting thing" for a fun time. However, I had lunch there recently, and was not at all impressed with the meal. I ordered a prosperity sandwich (which is an open-faced sandwich with ham, smothered in... More
