Good

Stopped by this little restaurant on a quick trip to STL. The reviews were good so I gave it a try. The food was good we had the sambosa for an appetizer which was good. Only complaint one piece didn't have a lot of filling in it but they were tasty. For dinner we had the Meskerem combo... read more

Meskherem has authentic, very tasty Ethiopian food. You can get real Tef Injera - a must! If you like Ethiopian this is the place to go!

My friend and I like to try different things to eat. Not having a clue what was near Tower Grove we pulled up Tripadvisor to see. Never tried Ethiopian food so we decided to check it out. It was a bit pricy for what we got but was definitely something we will be talking about for a long time. Food... More

First time having Ethiopian food, my wife heard about this place and so we tried it out for dinner. I'm glad we went. The food is mostly curry based. We ordered the sampler for two. It came out on a 16in pizza pan with samples of beef in a spicy and average sauce, two servings of chickpeas in spicy and... More

Have visited this restaurant before and the fact that we visit again and again is proof of our love, for Ethiopian food served in a big plate to share with the family....a sort of communitty eating of a variety of veg and non veg food that is tasty and delicious. We took the veggie and non veg combo with the Meskerem... More

We had an enjoyable evening with friends. The menu had all of the typical Ethiopian choices, plus a meat and veggie combos. We also tried the Honey Wine for the first time. It was interesting, not sure if I would try that again though. All of the food was delicious and we will certainly be back.

This is an excellent choice if you’re looking for something different and open to trying new food flavors and combinations. It’s especially good for a large group because everyone shares the food and discovers what they like or not. If food is a journey this is a good starting point. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. There... More

If eating with your fingers is what you like, this is your restaurant. My wife and I ordered the sample platter that comes with a couple of different meats, potatoe, and corn, all served on top of a light, spongy bread. The same bread is also served to you on a plate. Tear off a chunk of the bread, and... More

We all zeroed in on the community platter that comes with a variety of small dishes served on a brass plate with the Ethiopian bread on the side. No spoons, forks or knives...just tear your bread and dip into whatever colourful dish catches your fancy first. But one must try all the dishes to savour the taste and different flavours...chickpea,... More
