I was a little leery of this restaurant after my friends/family decided to go here as it is mostly meat. I'm not a vegetarian, but BBQ has never really been my thing. I like trying new places, so I went in with an open mind. We got there a little before 6:00pm on a Saturday night and had to wait... More

I've been here several times for various reasons. It's a fun Saturday night hang out if you enjoy good music and drinks but it gets uncomfortably crowded. My favorite time for Roadhouse is Sunday brunch with my family. They have a selection for brunch you just can't get anywhere else..all with that signature Creole touch. You gotta try their cheese... Our second Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives restaurant. Wife and I really enjoyed the rock and roll decorations and it seemed like a great place to have drinks. I ordered the Cajun Sampler (3 items for $9.99 - gumbo, etouffee, jambalaya) and the wife had the breaded Mississippi catfish ($12.99). Everything was delicious. The Cajun Sampler items all had a very... More

Visited here for a business lunch. I'm from Louisiana so I always like to try Cajun places when I come across them. The BBQ shrimp & fried okra appetizers were great, and I really like the sauce they serve with the okra. I ordered a salad & gumbo...their house dressing was great but I was a bit disappointed with the... More

Researched for a great, down to earth BBQ joint & found the BEST! Awesome full rack of ribs, Mac & cheese to die for! ( the only thing that could have been better was the fried okra! Being from the deep south I am spoiled & the okra was not fried to a rich, golden crisp!) that aside, everything else... More

As a local, you have the places you know to go to that will always deliver on your expectations. Roadhouse is one of those places. From BBQ, to shrimp, to oyster Po'Boys to the cream corn souffle, they are always served hot and delicious. We are never hesitant to bring our tour groups here during the slower times as well.... We were back in STL and ready for some of the old favorites. Drinks were large and hit the spot. The ribs were absolutely yummy!!! Since we had the BOGO appetizers -- a half rack dinner was plenty for the two of us to share. Dessert was the delicious STL favorite - Gooey Butter Cake and was taken back to... More

Good Cajun/creole food thats reasonably priced. Service, although friendly, is always slow whether for brunch or dinner.

We ate with another couple before a Cardinals game. We all ate from the senior menu. I got the fried catfish, Mac & cheese and corn casserole. Overall it was very good, the corn casserole was a little dry. I also chose the ice cream and praline for dessert. My sister and I didn't eat the praline because it wasn't... More

The first time we ate brunch, so when we were in the area recently we decided to try out dinner here. Service was defintely a little slow for our liking, but our waitress was super nice and made up for that. The food was good and decent size portions. We tried several of the items they are "famous" for mac-n-cheese... More
