All the food was amazing! Favorites were the haggis and the lamb. Also recommend flight or 2 of scotch. Staff very helpful.

This restaurant/bar is very close to Saint Louis University and the Central West End. It has a mix of Scottish and traditional bar food. The atmosphere is very "old town" with a Scottish theme. I have been here a few times and it was always good.

I have eaten here about 8 times. Service very good with great food. Many interesting seasonal items, plus regular pub fair of high quality. Love the location a little off the beaten path, but easy to get to.

When my mother-in-law suggested the Scottish Arms for brunch, I was skeptical to say the least. I had only been there as a SLU student for a couple nips o' whiskey. Decent dinner, but expensive for the quality. Oh well! She said she was paying, so smile and eat! Oh dear lord, the Croque Monsieur and Croque Madame were absolutely... More

Having not been to Scottish Arms for sometime, we recently went there for a mid-afternoon May birthday lunch. The Scottish eggs are good, but rather expensive. The entrees were not memorable, but expensive for lunch. The prices would have been acceptable, except the dining room appeared dreary and the waiter seemed indifferent, having guests dining in midafternoon seemed to be... More

This restaurant is definitely an experience. We thoroughly enjoyed trying all the Scottish food. The appetizer sampler was excellent, including the haggis. The beers were good, although they were out of too many of the ones my husbanded wanted. The waitress knew her stuff. Once the main meal came, the food was OK. The lamb shank didn't have much flavor...my... More

First time to Scottish Arms...won't be the last. Celebrating a bday and anniversary with friends. Guys enjoyed drams of scotch and our waiter was knowledgeable and well versed to aid in their selections. Gals enjoyed Smoky Mary's made with Benomach Peat smoked scotch. Neither of us are scotch lovers, but these were delish! The four of us shared The Highland... More

Have not been to this place in a while. But I remember the Scottish eggs were out of this world and the haggis was NOT to be missed, if you are slightly adventurous. A bit dark, but I like the pub feel. Great service. Have the Twisted Thistle ale (from Scotland). Very authentic food. A bit pricey, but what they... More
