Our favorite

Once again we did the chef's tasting menu with paired wines and we were not disappointed. Each course was beautifully prepared and a delight to eat. The wine pairings were all new to us and offered good accompaniment.

Not much can be added to the accolades Niche already enjoys. Gerald Craft has created a restaurant where every detail is superlative. We have been to wine dinners and just dined with friends - both experiences were sheer delight, and this is the opinion of someone who has been fortunate enough to dine at many Michelin rated establishments, both domestically... As a little bit of a food nerd, I had been wanting to visit this restaurant for quite a long time! Even the food that wasn't to my particular liking was very interesting. I just love to see all the cool ways to prepare food. I highly suggest ordering one of the tasting options so you can experience a wide... More

We went to eat here for my friend's birthday. The atmosphere is relaxed and pairs well with the quality of the food and the professional and friendly staff. Many other reviews have referred to the unique presentation of the food itself, so I will just say that my friend and I decided on the tasting menu and we were not... More

Fine dining in a more casual setting, but ver American haute-chic cuisine. All locally sourced, a good thing, but lots of unusual stuff you won't find in many restaurants. Very small portions meticulously plated. We had the chefs tasting menu for $100, each. I added the wine pairings which were a disappointment for me with mostly high acid whites/ rose.... More

This meal was amazing, one of the best I've had in St. Louis. The atmosphere was not pretentious at all, which is important to me. Also, I left here satisfied but not stuffed. The food itself is very tasty. We got 10 (11?) course tasting menu, and the food was delicious. The "egg" course was inventive, rich, and tasty. The... More

I know the restaurant and its famed chef prepare very fine food here - but the style and whatever it is they are reaching for here is lost on me. I've had 3 very good meals here but, on every occasion, left a bit hungry and a much lighter wallet.

Niche as a dining experience is difficult to describe. Even while you are there, there is an ever-present feeling of not understanding what is being described, being seen, or the flavors that are coming together. Simply amazing! Definitely not "slipping out for a bite to eat," but rather a moment where space and time are momentarily reshaped by the textures... More

Go and do the tasting menu. Each course is a an exercise in perfection. So many tastes and interesting foods. Or server Jordan was also great. This is a must if you are a foodie hitting St Louis.

First the good. The bartender is superb. Everyone at our table had a different drink and each one of us absolutely loved their cocktail. Inventive and beautifully made. Their wine list is also nice. The $70 prix fixe menu is priced well but service is a bit too fast for enjoyment of every dish. Best thing on the menu? Cheese... More
