Best Restaurant in St. Louis

I eat and travel extensively for business and this is one of the best restaurants in America. It is amazing and would be a Michelin 3 star if they rates US restaurants. Simply wonderful food that is underpriced and of great value to the wallet and senses. Fly from anywhere to eat here. No... read more

The reviews were great the food (what there was of it) was very tasteful. I felt more like I was at a tapas restaurant with small plates to try. I had a lamb dish that was $32.00 and for that I got four small pieces of lamb each about the size of a die at a gaming table. I will... More

On the flight from Amsterdam to Detroit I watched the movie 'Chef' and was very inspired by it. As it happened, I was invited to join some colleagues for dinner at Niche and upon watching the Chef at Niche do his thing I couldn't help thinking: good for you! At least you get to make your dreams come true and... More

Most nights Niche is for special occasions, but on Mondays there is more rustic comfort food. The menus are posted a few days in advance and there is usually two main courses. They are always good and more simple than normal nights at Niche.

World class food served by world class servers. I cannot say enough about the meal. Each course was excellent. Inventive, out of this world flavor combinations! Our server, Todd, could not have made it any more pleasant. I love what Gerard is trying to do here...making it a truly Missouri restaurant by using ingredients from the area. When anyone comes... We just had the most amazing experience at Niche in Clayton. This is a perfect spot for a date night, birthday or anniversary dinner. Jordan was our server and he was one of the best servers I've had in STL in years. Honestly! The food was top notch, service was killer, drinks amazing, and the atmosphere is very nice. Try... More

One of the reviews on the wall in the restaurant referred to Niche as an "avant restaurant". I wholly agree! "Avant-garde" is a term referencing forward thinking or advanced. Those concepts certainly apply to Niche. I am forever amazed at the culinary delights concocted by the owner and his sous-chefs. The "egg" is a remarakable constant but the ever changing... More

My wife & I don't consider ourselves "foodies". We don't take pictures or our food and post them online. We just enjoy good food, good service and good atmosphere. Went to Niche for our anniversary and had great food & great service in a wonderful restaurant. Would recommend the 4 course tasting menu as it really lets the chefs do... More

I was in town for the weekend and have been wanting to try Niche for a while. I sat at the chef's table overlooking the kitchen. Everyone was so accommodating and offered to answer any questions I had. Sometimes it can be a bit awkward for the restaurant staff to interact with a solo diner, but this was not the... More
