The Schlafly's Bottleworks has lead a transformation in Maplewood over the last 20 years. Now there are lots of restaurant choices but I still go back the Schlafly's if I want a good meal with wonderful beer options. The service is always very good. I love the focus on local food sources.

We went to Schlafly Bottleworks on a Monday. We had wanted a tour, but they only have them Friday, Saturday & Sunday. When we arrived, they had most of their parking lot blocked off & had to park across the street. Once inside, everything was great. They have a nice menu, both food and beer. The service was friendly and... More

This is your place! We have visited on several occasions, but this time it was for the Farmers Mkt and to sample a few new beers. Everything was excellent! We really enjoyed shopping the stalls in the market and we finished off a hot day with a stop in Schlafly's Bottleworks bar and sampled a couple of new beers. Very... More

This is one of our must stops each time we travel through or stay in St. Louis. Outstanding service, food, and beer. My favorite is the pecan crusted chicken breast.

Found Schlafly beer at a local bar at home and knew it was a must stop on my trip to St Louis. I picked up a case of the Belgium Golden Ale special release beer and the Pumpkin Ale--both beers are 5/5! Also sampled the sampled the Summer Lager and Cream IPA and would give them 4/5. Between our group... More

Hit up the restaurant before heading on the tour. We got their brunch and were blown away at the level of quality the food was. I had the quiche and my friend had the biscuits and gravy. Of course we had to wash it all down with some local suds and the list on tap is extensive. Great place to... More

We went to the local brewery and restaurant for the first time on Sunday. They had a free tour and tasting that we weren't going to pass up. The tour was short and sweet, with half of it spent in the tasting room. You get to try a rainbow of beer and the tour guide asks the group which you... More

The Schlafly Bottleworks tour is a great way to spend an afternoon. Start with the free brewery tour! The beer museum is filled with entertaining artifacts and history of beer making in and around St. Louis. The tour then moves right to the production area— note, bottling happens Mon. thru Fri. The tour is short, but very informative. However, beer... More

I decided to stop by Schlafly Bottleworks for a lunch. I normally eat at the Tap Room, which has decent food and was told that Bottleworks was better. Well I beg to differ. I ordered the trout, which was served with smashed potatoes and green beans. The trout was burnt on the skin side and when this was pointed out... More

Great selection of beers to try and I was surprised how good the food was! We were told it gets pretty busy in the evenings but we went for a late lunch and it was really easy to get in. Service was great, we'll be back!
