After seeing this on tripadvisor we had to try this while in town for a concert. It was delicious. Will make it a must stop every time in St Louis!

Ah yes - one of our must stops when passing anywhere near St. Louis. We have enjoyed custard at many places across the country from New England, Ohio, the South and California and still return here for what to us is still the best. Enjoy when you can.

Ted Drewes frozen custard is amazing. I love the cherry pie in the summer and the pumpkin pie during the fall and winter. It's frozen custard with a whole piece of pie thrown in. In the summer when the nights are hot Teds is packed. Don't let the crowds scare you away. The line moves quickly--most of the crowd is... More

Ted Drewes is quite the tradition in St. Louis and also a must see for any Route 66 fan. While it is a tradition, I do think it's slightly overpriced compared to other similar ice cream places. I am impressed that the servers always get your order right on the first try and never have to ask again despite how... More

Ted Drewes is a tradition and landmark in St Louis. They serve all kinds of flavors and all sizes. I personally think it is more tradition than anything. While it is good I believe that it is over rated. Personally a Blizzard from DQ tastes better to me. Ted Drewes has ONLY outdoor seating. So if you are stopping in... More

As a kid, we came to St. Louis to spend our summers with family. I remember 4 distinct things from those early years... Cardinals Baseball, the Arch, Anheuser-Busch, and Ted Drew's. It almost seemed the hotter the weather got, the busier Ted's place was. Well, I'm in my 40's now, and I find that the things I appreciations have changed...a... More

Wisconsin is the birth place of Culver's, Kopp's and a hundred other awesome spots so we know good custard...Ted Drewes could get along in WI anytime. Great custard...awesome service...try the oatmeal custard mixer.. the cookie stands up well to the super creamy custard...my new favorite.

I like the ice cream and custard. I would go there again. The service was okay and the ice cream came runny

A person on our Frontier flight from Portland to St. Louis had recommended this place. We pulled up on a hot summer night and the place was packed. No place to sit down. So we stood with the other dozens of people, including a fire-engine crew and a St. Louis policeman, and ordered and ate the best dessert we have... More
