The custard is great!!! We drove out of our way to go here! They offer a lot of choices from blizzard like shakes to sundaes and lots of sizes! Everyone found something they liked!

We had to wait in line, but all the things that we had heard about it were right. It was amazing! MY wife and daughter got sundaes, as I got a concrete. Very good and lived up to the expectations!

The concrete I had was good. The sundae my husband had was good. The service was slow. The wait was just too long, it was soooo crowded. It took forever to get served and finally get our items.

Like a 50's walk up, this place will give you a bit of that old time feel. Lines around the corner go quickly as the friendly staff serves you up some delicious frozen treats. We had heard many a rave review about Ted Drewes and they did not dissapoint. Right on point. Creamy, wonderful goodness in a cup! And the... More

I don't understand what all the hype is about. I tried Ted Drewes several times and it is just good old fashioned custard that I can get anywhere from a dozen custard stands around St. Louis, and I've tried almost all of them. It's not bad. It's not great. It's just standard recipe custard. So why 2 stars? The parking... More

We had been told not to miss this gem by a transplanted local, so when we arrived in St. Louis we programmed our GPS, and off we went! We must've hit it just right as it wasn't too busy, but boy, it sure would've been worth the wait in any case. The deliciousness of their frozen custard delights cannot be... More

On my last visit to St. Louis, I didn't stop because the lines were so long. This time I stopped. Thanks to our cathedral tour guide who told me the lines are long but move amazingly fast. He was right. We waited 10 minutes tops on a Thursday night. Great custard, great atmosphere.

First time there and ordered a frozen custard with strawberries and DH had the M&M concrete. Both were great.

I live outside the city of St. Louis but last week, I had the pleasure of spending time with my adult daughters while visiting my mother in South St. Louis. One of our family traditions is hanging out at Ted Drew's and eating any combo of "concrete" until we're literally SICK! It's a sick I'll endure again and again :-)... More
