Not the ideal place for small children. Food was good and Jennifer was an excellent server. More of a bar like atmosphere. The patio seating was unique and would have been awesome had it not been 100 degrees out. The crab dip was awesome. :) the Oysters Medley was good but didn't get a lot of oysters. I expected more... If you are in St. Louis you must stop by and eat here!!! All of the food and drinks we had were amazing!! It was busy when we went and it was nice going to a restaurant and seeing the whole staff busting their butts the whole time. Thank you for the great food and service! We will be back!

The atmosphere here was inviting and energetic to match the creole cuisine. The server/staff were friendly and informative on menu recommendations. The crawfish bisque was so delicious we had to order more after my family ate my initial order. The oysters were as fresh as can be and delicious. The tuna fajitas, crab enchiladas were just as good if not... More

Thank you so much for the awesome review. Our Chef's and suppliers have to work extra hard here in the Midwest in order to get good, fresh seafood and it is very rewarding for us when guests such as you come in, enjoy your experience with us and then tell others about your great experience. Nothing makes us feel better.... More

My husband and I went here after seeing the ranking on Trip Advisor and because it was close by. We sat outside which has a fun atmosphere. We shared the char-broiled oysters. They were delicious and less gritty than ones we ate in New Orleans. My husband had the red fish taco special and loved them. I had the Cajun... More

Thank you for the favorable comparison to the Motherland, New Orleans and all of Louisiana. Anyone who does that is A-OK with us. We are very happy that you enjoyed your experience, especially the great food and fun atmosphere. As we say in NOLA, let the good times roll! Hope to see you again. John More

My husband and the gumbo and a mufalletta and declared both very good. I had been looking forward to the blue crab cakes on fried green tomatoes after seeing a description on their online menu and wasn't disappointed, they were very tasty. Being close to the ball park I'd expect crowds on game nights and on this Friday afternoon they... More

Shrimp were good but a little overpriced. Not the best service and took a long time to get food. Table was uneven due to the floor.

Thank you for the fine review. We are happy that you thought the shrimp were good. We try to be as reasonable as possible with our pricing but we are located pretty far away from where shrimp and other seafood are readily available. We are sorry that you felt the service was a little slow and we will try to... More

Get the shrimp and grits best thing on they offer. Other items are good but not as great as the shrimp and grits. The bathrooms are super unique and fun.

Thanks for the great review. We like being called a "fun place" because fun is what we sell. Good food, drink, service and atmosphere combined with lots of live music, much of it free of charge, are all combined together to give our guests a fun, entertaining experience. We are glad we can put you in the success column as... More

We were recently in St. Louis for a quick visit. After spending the afternoon enjoying Forest Park we headed back towards our hotel near the ball stadium. It was getting close to time for dinner so we pulled out trip advisor and found this great spot. We lucked out because it was right before the baseball game so all the... More
