Fantastic Food and Experience

It has been awhile since our last visit, but the atmosphere, food, friendly staff haven't changed! The shrimp is fantastic, I usually opt for the peel & eat shrimp, but no matter how you like it you can't go wrong

We absolutely love all of our regular guests from Springfield Illinois! It is incredible the number of guests who come to BOB from Springfield on a regular basis and I never tire of talking and joking with them about baseball, food and all things BOB. Thank you so much for the outstanding review. W need to figure out how to... More

We went downtown just for dinner at the BOB. We shared the boiled crawfish which were hot, spicey, juicy and large, even out of season -- YUM. Three of us had the catfish platter that is best in the city. Our fourth had the oyster basket and they too were wonderful. Great beer, great good, great live music, great service.... More

It does get crowded and noisy with live music and people partying and having a good time but we are thrilled that you still love the BOB! "Great beer, great food, great live music, great service" seems to cover all the bases. Many thanks for visiting and for writing a fabulous review. We hope to see you often in the... More

We had a great lunch of oyster po' boy, spicy fried shrimp and cole slaw with a nice lager. We especially enjoyed the spicy cole slaw and cocktail sauce. I respect an establishment that isn't afraid of the chili peppers and horse radish. Stephanie was a treat and we enjoyed our stop at Broadway Oyster Bar. It was highly recommended... More

Thank you so much for visiting and for writing such a wonderful review. We are definitely getting a lot of attention lately from the South Pacific, first from New Zealand and now from Hawaii! Very busy corner restaurant, with different setting than normal. very polite staff, set yourself and they attend to your requests. Ample parking at the time I visited, this may pack out when the restaurant is full. Other parking a very short walk away.

Thank you very much for a wonderful review and I believe our very first review from New Zealand! We like the description of "different setting" that you use because we are without a doubt different from most other places in many ways. We are very happy that you enjoyed your total BOB experience. We went here with my 10 year old daughter. We had the best food and time. She ordered a Shirley Temple and they served it in a big fancy glass which she thought was great. We all had shrimp of some sort and it was delicious. We sat outside on a nice night. My daughter loved the decor on the... More

Thank you and your daughter for visiting BOB and for writing such a terrific review. I would have never guessed a lobster Po Boy would be worth $16, but it is. Off the beaten path, but I would add the Broadway Oyster Bar to your places to visit for your next St. Louis visit. The bread was perfect and homemade, lobster lightly fried and perfectly sweet, voodo sauce was the perfect amount spice, and the... More

We had the 'thanksgiving Po'Boy' and the king crab. Both excellent! The service was relaxed, friendly and efficient. The even made a non-alcoholic cocktail on demand that tasted heavenly!

Frequent visitors to St. Louis but our first time here-looking for seafood and this didn't disappoint. Excellent king crab at a reasonable price. The baked potatoes and asparagus on the side were excellent too, as was the ice cold beer, service, music from the live band, and the atmosphere on the outside patio on a perfect St. Louis night.
