This is a perfect spot to go to before a Cardinals' game, as it is one block from the stadium. They have a fun patio with eccentric artwork and decorations. The food is New Orleans spicy and flavorful. The service was quick, despite being packed. There was a good live band before the game. All in all, it was a... More

We ended up at the Oyster Bar as they seem to roll up the sidewalks in St Louis at 4pm on Sundays. It worked out well for us as this little place is not to be missed. A short stroll from the ballpark, there was live music on and plenty of people enjoying both east and drink outside on the... More

I went with a large party and all were pleased with their entrees. The food is very good but not gourmet. The atmosphere is festive, a bit dark and no tablecloths. It is a safe and pleasant walk, especially for a small group, from most downtown hotels. Music started around 9:30. I would go again if in downtown St Louis

Thank you for the terrific review. Very glad you enjoyed your visit with us and took the time to tell others about it via your review. We do offer a variety of live music nightly, not strictly blues. Feel free to call to get an update on the type of music offered each night. Hope to see you again. John More

We went to have a meal before the cardinals game, what an awesome ambience, owner very nice and involved in people having a good time, they had a raffle for tickets to the game and gave cracker jacks to the kids, they even told us you could take free water bottles to the game, food very good too, nice experience... This place is outstanding. Free parking, downtown, near the Arch. Fantastic Service, Fantastic food. The atmosphere was amazing......I had the oysters, crawfish, and the wings were spicy but fantastic! Great cold beer.....Would have loved to been able to spend the entire day there! Well done....way to represent St.Louis.

Our friends brought us here when we were in town for a Cards game over Labor Day weekend. Between us we had red beans and rice, Jambalaya, Oysters Nola, and the bucket of crawfish appetizer. Everything was delicious, the portions ample, the prices reasonable, and even though it was packed to capacity, the service was exceptionally efficient and unfailingly friendly... More

A New Orleans themed menu that includes entrees, mufaletta, poboys, salads, and the best oysters in town. Get the bread pudding. It's great. The owner raffles (free) Card's tickets every day b4 the game, and he gives everyone a free 22oz. bottle of water (a $6.00 value at Busch Stadium). This place is friendly and energetic. We'll definitely return.

Thanks you for the amazing review. We will definitely look forward to your return, either before a game or when the Cards are out of town or not in season. We try to cater to the dinner crowd as well as the ballgame crowd and the atmosphere is more subdued when the Cards are not in town. In any event,... More

We had a great meal before the Cardinals game. The outdoor seating was very comfortable and the shrimp, oysters, crab cakes, calamari and alligator bites were all delicious. We love the Oyster Bar.

Many thanks for the awesome review. We definitely get a lot of customers before Cardinal games but don't forget about coming in for lunch or dinner when the Cards are out of town and try the seafood specials that we are well known for. Thank you for the love. We love you as well as all of our regular customers.... More

What a spectacular taste, it has a rich smokiness to it, the oysters are cooked in the half shell with a breading and lots of melted smoky cheese. They are known for this dish and what a fun dive bar. It's a classic that you must try. We stumbled upon it by accident and it is now our favorite place... More

Many thanks for the outstanding review. Very happy you enjoyed the Oysters NOLA, which is a new dish but very popular. We have live music 7 nights a week and twice on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and most Sundays. We do like to party! We had a fantastic experience! We love Cajun food, but have a hard time finding good places in the Midwest, not a problem here. We stopped in for lunch, the service was great, the atmosphere was great, and the food was awesome. We recommend the crawfish bisque and the crawfish étouffée.

We love Cajun food too so extremely happy we found each other! Thank you for the terrific review. We are not sure how far away you live but we hope to see you many times in the future. I do know that we are closer than New Orleans for a good Cajun/Creole meal! Thanks again. John More
