The food at Soulard's is good but not great. Overpriced in my opinion, especially for the lack of originality. Nice atmosphere in the bar area. Service is standard. Worth trying if you have the group on, otherwise, there are better places to visit for average food.

We took the family here for a birthday dinner and had a wonderful time. I had the garlic soup and crusted scallops with snow peas. Excellent. Their specialty is a very good pork tenderloin dish, which I've been making for about 30 years. The desserts were a bit ordinary, but the kids loved looking at the suits of armor by... More

We grabbed a bite to eat here after the Mardi Gras parade. Being in the middle of all the excitement, the place was extremely crowded and they charged a $5 cover per person, which was silly for a restaurant! The food was ok, menu choices really weren't that great. For being so busy, the service was still great at least.... More

Food was moderately good but incredibly overpriced. The service was the reason we will not be going back though. Rude waitresses and I attentive staff.

On the near south side of St. Louis. Took 10 people here for dinner. Most of us had their recommended Peppered Filet. It was cooked as ordered and very good. Desserts were good also. House salad/dressing was very good Bill came to $48pp including tip.

Ten of us dined at Soulard for dinner. Our waitress, Chris, was one of the best we've encountered. She was always right there when we needed her, but not in your face. I had a special request and she went to the chef and asked if he could accommodate me. I had the special, which was scallops, pork tenderloin, blackened... More

Soulard's is located in Soulard, a historic district on the southern edge of St. Louis. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it is a convenient location for local residents and workers from companies within the city to dine. Their menu runs the gamut, from salads and sandwiches to full course meals. On a recent visit, I ordered the Soulard Sub... More

I have never had dinner here, but several lunches (because it is close to Soulard Market where I shop often) have demonstrated to me that there are better places in Soulard for lunch with better prices. The atmosphere is very nice, and the service is good. But the food -- at lunch, at least -- is only average. Clam chowder,... More

I am about to be very picky, because I think you should know everything before going in to eat here, then you can make up your own mind. On our recent trip to St. Louis we decided to have a nice dinner at Soulards. We had a groupon ticket that was for 30 dollars off of our ticket. We both... More
