Food is as good as the beer!

Had both inside and outside seating. Food was really good and the beer was also. They had a lot on tap so I suggest you start with the sampler - six beers so you can pick the one you like. If you hit is correctly, you can even but a 6 pack to go of your favorite! Servers were very... read more

Sat outside for lunch on a recent Tuesday. Building takes up a city block in a touristy area but restaurant is on the east side. Tried two beers ($5.25 each) and both were good. Service was friendly but sporatic and slow despite the restaurant being less than half full. My smoked turkey sandwich was below average, served on a day... More

menu limited in choices for both beer and food. quality is good and the possibility to eat outside it's a plus. prices are in line with what you can find in town.

We enjoyed an early dinner here May 15th while visiting Saint Louis from Michigan. Comfortable, casual surroundings and very friendly staff made for an enjoyable time. I ordered the Chicken and Sausage Pasta and my wife had the 1/2 Rack of Ribs. Both meals offered large portions and were cooked to perfection. The restaurant is convenient to most downtown attractions... More

When we dined at the Morgan Street Brewery, the place was virtually empty. I can only compliment the brewer(s) - your beer is great and served in a lovely environment. I would suggest the 6 beer samplers, share and then decide as personal preferences would differ. It is great to view the brewing cellar and activities whilst savoring the beer.... More

I took my boyfriend there for his birthday because he had never been. I had been a few times, but will never go back. I ordered a Bloody Mary; by the time the waiter brought back the drink, all of the ice was melted (we were seated inside). Beer pretzels had frozen parts in the middle due to being undercooked.... I was there with a group of several friends. We were seated promptly and took our time choosing our orders while some of the group ordered soft pretzels as appetizers. The soft pretzels we ordered were unmemorable and overly salted. For my main course I ordered the St. Louis Smokehouse Sandwich, which turned out to be just a basic sandwich... More

I made a special trip to try dark beers. Much to my disappointment they were out of all the dark beers. I tried a glass of the Maibock. It was ok. Fortunately it was happy hour and the beer was $3, making it worth it. I tried the veggie linguini. It was edible but lack any thing special to make... More

Just happened upon this place and didn't know what to expect at a tavern. Steak was a surprise and delish. Beef medallions and tortellini was superb. Service was just the perfect pace ... no hurry, no lag. Quiet atmosphere for a Saturday night, but it was late.
