A great experience

The experience is what you make it. We had a variety of appetizers and pasta dishes, and there was no way we could get through it. The portions were huge and the food was really good. A lot of reviews talk about expectations and comparisons. If you just like to eat - this is the place. If you... read more

Mama's is small but with a big taste! My sisters and I enjoyed a leisurely lunch after strolling through the botanical gardens. We shared a bottle of wine and had fun "trading" portions of each dish so we could vote which one was the best. It was too difficult to decide. The bread is heavenly! We wish we had saved... More

I really liked this quaint neighborhood restaurant. I thought the portions were generous and the prices were good. The fettucini alfredo was delicious, as was the garlic bread. Will be back.

I have come here the weekend of the Go STL races for the past 3-4 years now and am never disappointed. Prices are decent and food is good. Service is quick, I normally get take-out and bring it back to the hotel, but always have a memorable meal. The toasted ravioli are always good, and this visit I got the... More

Tried the fried ravioli and it was good. I really enjoyed their salad. The portions sizes are very good. I wasn't as thrilled with their red sauce but the other dishes at our table were very good. Wait staff was good and attentive.

toasted ravioli does not disappoint. I do agree with some of the reviews, some of the times my visit is fantastic and some times it lacks a little bit.

My husband and I were on the hunt for some toasted ravioli! We heard it was something, as tourists, we should try in St. Louis. Lo and behold, Mama's on the Hill started the toasted ravioli! They were super delicious! Our waitress, Melanie, was amazing and explained a lot of the menu and gave us tidbits on how to eat... More

Our waiter disliked us and basically ignored us, even though we were pleasant and encouraged him to tell us what was good on the menu. They don't have a wine list, the wine glasses were filmy with towel bits stuck on them, and our food was thrown on the plates. The food was ok, but overpriced. The bus boy actually... More

I stopped in here for lunch one day and wasn't disappointed. Great Toasted Ravioli and tasty pasta dishes. I found this place when searching for a place in the The Hill that was open for lunch. I recommend this to anyone in the area.

We came here for lunch and asked the bus boy for the lunch menu and he replied with an attitude there wasn't one. We didn't realize there wasn't a lunch menu until after ordering our drinks so we decided to stay and had to order off the entree menu that started around 13-14$ a plate. That didn't even include soup... More
