Had several meals a few years back and just made my way through STL again and was pleasantly surprised to see the place is still on top of it's game. I don't know much about STL anymore but if you're looking for amazing food (you won't find a better steak) this is your pick. Friendly Quaint Delicious The End

Just had appetizers and drinks as we already had dinner reservations for a different restaurant later that night, but the appetizers--lobster turnovers, veal dumplings, cheese board, and charcuterie--were outstanding! I'm not scoring five out of five because I can't comment on entrees or desserts, and since we didn't stay long I don't feel confident commenting on the service, but for... More

I recently visited Sidney Street Café. The service was great and the atmosphere went good. The waitress was very kind and explained everything. The food was amazing. The food was pricey and the portions for small. But I went home full.

The service started with the waitress taking our drink order not filling it and moving to the table next to us opened a bottle of wine then moved to a second table and took there order so our drinks took lease 15 minutes not a great start in my book.Started with the Appetizer Lobster filled pastry was very good how... I recently visited Sidney Street Cafe and had a great experience. The service was wonderful and the atmosphere was extremely pleasant. My only concerns was that it was quite expensive and they provided extremely small portions....appetizer-sized. My sea scallops for dinner were somewhat small and I only had 3. With the price of my entree being nearly thirty dollars, it... More

This restaurant was recommended by a couple of "Foodies" who accompanied us on our first visit to the Sidney Street Café. They had raved about the place and we were not disappointed. To start, they had a nice wine list from quality vineyards. We did bring in one special bottle for a $20.00 cork fee, but also purchased off their... More

Sidney Street has a great reputation and we were anxious to go there for a special dinner. I love the location in Benton Park. And the old building with exposed brick on the interior. The waiter was very well versed on the menu and guided us to some very good choices. My wife's starter Caesar salad had a very mild... More

We had dinner here last month, and paying $ 60.00 to $75.00 each for small portions of only average flavored food is not my idea of a so called 5 Star restaurant. The waiters were not friendly and when I asked about a seafood special he had to go away to check. $ 50.00 for a 6 ounce portion of... More

Part of a group of five, my wife and I dined at the Sidney Street Café in St. Louis, MO on a cool evening in mid-September 2014. Our waiter/server, a loquacious and friendly gentleman named Ben, was gregarious and very helpful from the beginning to the end of our fabulous meal. After an unhurried round of cocktails/wine, we ordered a... More
