We went to Pho Grand with friends from the area, this very busy restaurant offers an extensive menu. As I understand it's a very popular place and often a long line on weekends to get in. We started with Spring rolls it was very fresh and came with a very light and tasty dipping sauce. For meals I had a... More

Pho Grand is still great for Vietnamese. It has changed to a more Vietnamese fusion and upscale but still one of my favorites to eat. If you like French coffee, get here and you won't regret it.

This was one of the first restaurants in what has become St. Louis' much-heralded international restaurant row on S. Grand Avenue. DO NOT expect Americanized food here. The Vietnamese recipes are genuine, as is the liberal usage of hot spices. The small space is always full, and service is fast. Many Vietnamese nationals are among the customer base. In all,... More

My wife and I were here on a Saturday night, a busy night, but we were seated quickly. The service was excellent - friendly, there when we wanted him. I like the variety of dishes on the menu, usually get some kind of noodle dish, but this time went with something different, a braised beef with vegetables, and rice. Delicious.... More

This is a pretty restaurant with white tablecloths and a quiet ambience. It's a good place to introduce people to Vietnamese cuisine, and the wait staff is well-versed in doing that. I have probably eaten at 50 Vietnamese restaurants nationwide, and I found the pho middle-of-the-road, for my palate it was tasty but nothing to write home about. I think... More

We went at Pho Grand last Sunday for a late lunch. The place it is cramped with tables too close to each other. Food ok, not the best or the worst, but ok. The spring roll were nice and fresh, we also split and entree order of calamari that was good. I had the soup (pho dac biet) which I... More

This place was arranged for us for dinner as part of a large group. The restaurant is tiny so it basically took up the whole entrance to seat us all meaning every time someone came in a cold blast hit us and they had to squeeze past our table to get seated. The food was ok, interesting but nothing outstanding.... More

We had a very enjoyable visit to this restaurant recently. Everything we tried was very tasty, good portions, and quite the value. The service was average, the place was packed, and the atmosphere is good. It really was what we were looking for that evening-good light food served hot. I have to say I was disappointed with the cheap small... More

So disappointed for the price you pay for the food. It was very bland. The sauces on the table were nasty. Definitely wont be going there again. Not to mention a bad part of town.
