I really enjoy this area, Grand, in the city. It reminds me of a college nightlife strip, with upper scale activities (that is, not the bar scene, but more the hip scene with coffee shops, restaurants, and eclectic store offerings). We love Vietnamese food (since 2 are from Vietnam in our family), and though this place was not considered the... More

We were visiting St. Louis for a short time and wanted to have some pho while we were in town one night. Based on other reviews we decided this was the place to try. Very glad we did! Even after 7: 00 on a Sunday evening we had to wait about 15-20 minutes to be seated. It's not super large... More

We are spoiled and have Vietnamese at least once every other week back home in Southern California. Being on an extended road trip this summer and tired of diner food, we decided to give Pho Grand in St. Louis a try. It was a welcome change, and we were happy with our experience. We arrived for a late lunch. The... More

This is one of our favorite places to dine. The food is excellent. They are always busy and service is very fast.

We went to Pho Grand with friends from the area, this very busy restaurant offers an extensive menu. As I understand it's a very popular place and often a long line on weekends to get in. We started with Spring rolls it was very fresh and came with a very light and tasty dipping sauce. For meals I had a... More

Pho Grand is still great for Vietnamese. It has changed to a more Vietnamese fusion and upscale but still one of my favorites to eat. If you like French coffee, get here and you won't regret it.

This was one of the first restaurants in what has become St. Louis' much-heralded international restaurant row on S. Grand Avenue. DO NOT expect Americanized food here. The Vietnamese recipes are genuine, as is the liberal usage of hot spices. The small space is always full, and service is fast. Many Vietnamese nationals are among the customer base. In all,... More

My wife and I were here on a Saturday night, a busy night, but we were seated quickly. The service was excellent - friendly, there when we wanted him. I like the variety of dishes on the menu, usually get some kind of noodle dish, but this time went with something different, a braised beef with vegetables, and rice. Delicious.... More

This is a pretty restaurant with white tablecloths and a quiet ambience. It's a good place to introduce people to Vietnamese cuisine, and the wait staff is well-versed in doing that. I have probably eaten at 50 Vietnamese restaurants nationwide, and I found the pho middle-of-the-road, for my palate it was tasty but nothing to write home about. I think... More

We went at Pho Grand last Sunday for a late lunch. The place it is cramped with tables too close to each other. Food ok, not the best or the worst, but ok. The spring roll were nice and fresh, we also split and entree order of calamari that was good. I had the soup (pho dac biet) which I... More
