Texas girl here who wasn't happy in St. Louis until I found Roper's Ribs. The St. Louis ribs and rib tips are really the best ever. The new dry rub is my favorite. In addition to the tender, juicy, delicious BBQ, the jumbo fried shrimp is seriously cooked to perfection. The service is great. The Ropers are so sweet and... More

I got to try the ribs, tips, chicken, Polish, and baked beans and potato salad! Everything was delicious!! Tender juicy and great sauce. I expected nothing less when I saw all the pictures from the neighborhood awards. It's the perfect hole in the wall bbq and I have never had bad food from a whole in the wall

I have lived my while life eating texas bbq, and cooking in restaurants and these are by far the best ribs I have ever had. Tender, juicy, perfectly smoked and fall off the bone good. If you leave texas and visit St. Louis, you must stop here. Only a couple of tables, but once you sink your teeth into those... More

Headed to the airport, Roper's Ribs was a nice quick stop for some good BBQ. My co-workers and I came in from a long drive and were pretty hungry. Ms. Roper made us feel at home. She was very professional and accommodating. I had rib-tips while my co-workers ate half-slabs. We enjoyed our food and left very satisfied. As a... More

I read all of the great reviews here, so my mother, husband and I made it a point to go there while we were in St. Louis. We drove 30 minutes each way through a very bad neighborhood. After getting our food, we waited the 30 minutes back to the place we were staying before we ate it. During the... More

Visited Roper's this week while in St. Louis on business. Read the reviews and got cautiously excited (because they were almost too good to be true). As it turns out--the reviews and many awards that Roper's has earned over the years are well earned. I think that the baby back ribs helped restore my faith in all of humanity. I... More

We went here because we wanted to taste the "best bar B Que in St Louis" and Ropers did not disappoint. They were friendly, beautiful people who can really make some excellent food. Go here. If you're hungry, you will leave full!
