My wife and I went here on our anniversary for 2 primary reasons: great reviews here, and a lot of places are closed on Sunday nights! We weren't familiar with this type of food, but were very pleased with the experience. Our waiter was the son of the proprietors, so was very knowledgeable about the food. He was also friendly... A jewel in St. Louis' "Little Bosnia", we were greeted by extremely friendly staff and delicious Bosnian comfort food. Location is convenient to downtown and an easy drive from the Washington University and West County regions. Over half the tables were filled with Bosnian-speaking guests, validating my impression of real authenticity.

We had a great dinner at Grbic this past Saturday! I found the restaurant through Trip Advisor, and thought it was worth a try. Word of warning: the surrounding area looks sketchy, so much so that a police officer was posted in the parking lot. But the restaurant itself was adorable inside and out. Our server was friendly and knowledgable,... More

I was not familiar with Bosnian food...or was I? My background is German, Austrian and Hungarian. The food tasted just like grandmother's. The food was very familiar to me and was very good. It was like being home. The atmosphere was very nice as they remade the former dairy building with brick walls and lovely murals. The young waiter who... More

Just returned from an evening meal with the family at Grbic. I have been looking for some good Balkan food since coming back from living in Europe over 10 years ago. I found it at Grbic. Good selection grilled foods as well as classic schnitzels and spatzle. Reasonably priced meal and very friendly staff. If you are ever in St.... More

We took the family to Grbic after a college graduation. We greatly enjoyed the Bosnian food since we like Slovenian food very much. the restaurant style was old world and very pleasing, with murals of the Bosnian hills. Great place for a fine dinner.

Saw this wonderful restaurant featured on a Bizarre Foods episode highlighting St. Louis area foods... There was nothing "bizarre" about this food... it was excellent. The Grbic Mixed Platter was spectacular; assorted beef and chicken prepared in a variety of ways with mixed veggies, grilled onions and peppers. While it is advertised as dinner for 1, 2 can easily share... More

I had an opportunity to taste some Serbian food in New York City while working there. Didn't know St. Louis had such a restaurant, but found it on-line and decided to try it out. No disappointment whatsoever. The food was excellent! We had the Cevapi, a "sausage" appetizer, which set the tone for what we were about to get--great seasoning,... More
