Went with friends who live in the St. Louis area for lunch and we were not disappointed. While not in a great part of town, the restaurant has been beautifully restored and has a lot of fine woodwork on the ceiling and walls. The menu is very lengthy and the only problem was narrowing down what to have - we... More

This is not Haute Cuisine, but good Bosnian food, with some very tasty Bosnian specialties along with some standard fare in case your date is less adveturous. The Croatian wines are quite good - we actually popped for the more expensive one on the menu (from the Peljesac Peninsula on the Adriatic), and it was excellent. The decor is what... More

They have a great variety of some traditional american dishes as well as German/Balkan/Bosnian food like scnitzel and goulash. We tried the mixed Gribic plate and it was fantastic! We were also impressed with their beer and wine selection as well. We will definitely be back!

The food is very good and always way too much to eat at one meal. A lot of food for a little price. And always, always save room for dessert.

The food is unfamiliar, unless you're Bosnian - but that doesn't matter: try something and enjoy it! Everything is made at the restaurant (as far as I can tell), so it's fresh, unusual, and has its own special flavor, texture and appeal. The building has been beautifully restored, and the service is friendly and quick, but not rushed.

Was getting nervous. Had been in St Louis a week and had yet to go to Grbic's. But stopped in for a Saturday lunch and it was amazing. Jager Schnitzle with chicken was fantastic. With veal even better!! The Valdostona was comfort food heaven. The Trahana, described as a traditional soup of the Balkans, was one of the best soup... More

Feels like you're sitting down in someone's home to enjoy a cabbage-y meal. Good, nice, warm, and filling.

Make sure you visit St Louis' primer Bosnian restaurant. We took a family group of 11 for a special Saturday night get together. We had the whole works, wine, several different appetizers and order many different items from the menu. It was all wonderful, the service was great. Special - one member of our group ate only non meat dishes,... More

I was searching for Eastern European food to try out the first time and came upon this gem. I was looking for something that at least as far as I know represented well what the food in that area was. The waiter was very knowledgable and pointed us in the right direction for our queries I had the sarma which... More
