A fun restaurant with a menu a little different than usual. The prices were reasonable and the atmosphere was fun.

While staying in St. Louis I just had to take my wife to dinner at Maggie O'Brien's--Maggie O'Brien was my wife's maiden name! This place was fun from start to finish. The name Maggie O'Brien is everywhere on signs and pictures--a hoot for my wife! The service was good, the atmosphere excellent, and the food delicious. We both had the... More

This restaurant had very good food and service. When we were there, it was fairly empty, but when we asked for several of the listed beers, we were told they were out of them because it had been so crowded the day before. That was a bit of a disappointment. Wish we could have tried some of the more unusual... More

The food was excellent, the service fast and efficient, and it was very close to the Union Station Hotel, which made it convenient, if you get weary of the onsite-eatery menu.

Irish pub with the right beers, the right food and the right vibe. Had a great night here after a book tour stop in St. Louis. This place was excellent.

I somehow had in my head that Maggie O'Brien's was a glorified sports bar. It's so much more, it's got Cheer's type atmosphere outstanding food and of course what makes or breaks a restaurant, great service. Yep, got em' all. I chose the Paddy Babe's Smoked Corned Beef, Wife had the Fighting Irish Rueben. Both were excellent, well prepared and... More

I just ate supper at Maggie O'Brien's on Monday. I had their potato soup and my husband had the bangers and mash. Delicious! Almost every time we are in St. Louis we try to at least stop in for a drink.

We spent part of an evening at Maggie O'Brien'w while visiting St Louis recently. We had a few pints and some bar food. The service was good, and the food was reasonable, but the place needs an update. The chairs were uncomfortable and overall the place needs a bit of a make over. In any case, if you are looking... When you're downtown (next to Union Station) don't skip this opportunity. Great ribs and Irish fare as well. Pub-like atmosphere with good grub. Staff was friendly and service was great.

The Shamrock sandwich with the little red potatoes was just what the doctor ordered after a long day at the office and meetings. I had garlic cheese added and a couple of cold Budweisers. That hit the spot. One of the owners was there checking on customers which was a nice touch. The server checked on me and made sure... More
