Somewhat Irish food

Corned beef figured large on the menu, something you cannot get in Ireland. No shepherd's pie. Interestingly, the Irish stew came in a sourdough bowl. The Guinness tasted great. Not a bad place, but not truly Irish

We had been across the street at the conference center at Union Station. The bar is dated (dingy and dark). There were 40+ beers on the menu but the waitress freely admitted she knew nothing about beer. Everything was fried and poorly fried at that. Soggy fries. Half cooked onion rings. I ordered fish and chips. Not fries, but potato... More

We did not eat here, however everyone that we talked to said the food is great. We attended the St Pat's Parade in STL and went here later. The beer garden is huge and the staff was great, We will return when its not around the St Patrick's day for dinner.

We were really looking forward to tasting some delicious St. Louis BBQ and had a couple of number one picks in mind. However, since we were very hungry after our long drive, we ate at this restaurant based on the recommendation from the staff at our hotel. It was only steps away from the hotel which was a plus. We... More

This is a nice Irish Pub next to the Union Station Hotel. The food is very good, the service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. It is a good spot to grab a filling dinner in a comfortable atmosphere. We were staying at the Union Station Hotel and were directed to this restaurant by one of the staff when... More

This restaurant has great food and fabulous service. Our server, Tommy, was very friendly, accommodating to our special needs child, and knew the menu well. He was able to make recommendations and his recommendations were right on. The cost of the food is appropriate for the quality and amount.

I am not a fan of chicken tenders but ordered some at Maggie O'Brien's as a snack when we were visiting St. Louis last weekend. I have to say - I am now a believer! They are fresh and hand made for each order. Actually tasted like chicken, instead of breading. I will go back next time I am in... More

Maggie's was recommended by the hotel and once there the waitress recommended the Reuben - best I've ever had! I am sure all the food there is great
