Had a couple of beers before the Cubs game. Well worth the stop. Schlafly is the beer when in St. Louis.

Beer was excellent! Flagship brews as well as specialty beers available only at the taproom made for an excellent experience. The food was well prepared and the price per portion was generous. However it was curiously lacking in seasoning. They missed the five mainly because we were not told about children's options until after ate our appetizers and we began... More

I thought that this might be a little on the touristy side. I was somewhat correct, but it was worth the trip. I thought that the beer would be the star here, and I was correct, but the food was surprisingly good too. The place was very crowded, but we got a seat rather quickly. The mussels (prepared in the... More

The annual Mussel Festival at Schlafly Tap Room is always worth a trip downtown. They offered about 6 different ways to prepare the mussels as well as mussel salads, chowder, pasta and flatbread. The chowder had great flavor. As always the beer selection was broad. Service is always very good at the Schlafly establishments.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Schlalfy. Both of us are dark beer drinkers.; I tried oatmeal stout and my wife had coffee stout. Both had great flavor...something that is hard to get out of a craft beer (dark) in the summer. We had burgers for lunch. They were great (although a little stingy on the ketchup for the fries)... We have been on a microbrewery kick lately so we had to visit Schlafly's. The Ginger Lager was so good. It's a new summer addition for them and is worth a try. We also had the Red Curry Mussels with a side of broccoli. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a brewery restaurant, they do have an outdoor space.... More

Schlafly Tap Room obviously has a great beer selection. An STL original, I love a good happy hour here. They have several staple brews on tap and always have an interesting rotating/seasonal tap to try. This keeps things fresh and interesting every time we visit. The food is very good and vegetarian friendly. (Vegans may struggle a bit to find... More

We were staying in relatively nearby hotel and felt compelled after a friend had raved about the beer. From the perspective of the beer I certainly wasn't disappointed. Its situated in a bit of a run down area but once inside it has really pleasant furnishings and a wonderful selection of beer. The staff seemed busy and a little harassed... More

My husband and I enjoy good beer and good food. We thought this place was just ok for both. My husband had the swine lover's plate which included a bone in pork chop (good), bratwurst (ok) mashed potatoes and gravy (good) & beer battered bacon (potential to be good but very greasy). I had the pub burger (recommended by the... More

Loved everything at our table! From the muscles to the gallon of beer and all of the appetizers and other entrees in between, everything was just delicious!
