Lately in St. Louis Middle Eastern cuisine has become popular. The oldest such restaurant is Saleem's, which originated near Tower Grove Park and moved later to The Loop. We went to Saleem's Lebanese, and I was not impressed. My fiancee enjoyed it, even though I'm the Middle Eastern one. The prices were kind of high, and the food seemed to make us sick.
