This place has a large menu. There tend to be a lot of kids there which is why we went so it looks like a place where a lot of kids have been. Service was adequate, not great and not poor. Food was good. Place can be noisy. Someone told me its cool to see the bottling but nothing was... More

This was the best place we ate at in St. Louis. Had to wait for a table, but it was worth the wait. Food was excellent. My wife had a gluten-free burger...BEST she has ever had. Everyone else was very impressed. The drinks(sodas) were so good. A bottomless mug gets you free refills of any of there main flavors. I... More

We stopped here for a snack as we where walking the "walk of fame walk". We stopped in and got some root beer floats and milk shakes. The place had a nice atmosphere. We sat at the counter and watched them make floats as there is no wait for sitting at the counter. The milkshakes are big enough for 2... More

I am rating this "Excellent" because of the total experience. This place is well run and it shows. My wife and I visited on Labor Day , mid afternoon. I was expecting a long wait and not so great service due to the large crowd of customers when we arrived. We waited about 15 minutes , and received top notch... More

My grandchildren have led a rather sheltered existence, so when I had the opportunity, I took 4 of them (ages 4-8) on a trip to St. Louis. They didn't know what a root beer float was, so were hesitant, but loved it. The floats were huge, and 5 of us couldn't quite finish the 2 floats we shared--along with a... More

This great restaurant in Fitz's bottling facility is so so good. The menu is extensive with choices for all tastes. The portions were huge (may want to share), it is in a great location just around the corner from the zoo and forest park. There is limited free parking and is wheelchair friendly. There re large windows which in select... More

This place blew me away the moment we were seated at our table. I loved that you could watch their bottle works being operated while you waited and ate your food. I ordered the pretzel sticks which were amazing and the orange creme soda. Later I also bought the Cardinal Cream and thought it was the best soda I'd ever... More

Everything here is good, particularly the house brewed root beer. My favorite dishes are their hamburger, and the portabella mushroom pizza. Yum! On the Loop, usually busy, so get their early or be prepared to wait. The wait is worth it!
