The interior to this restaurant sucks. It looks like an open hall you would see at the VFW or something ... The food is average, especially for the price you pay. The location is great, though. Very convenient.

I ordered the lobster, only because everything else on the menu was almost just as much. The lobster was huge, so that was good. Be prepared to pay a lot if you eat here. I wish they had the menu outside like most restaurants ... I felt like once I sat down, I was trapped.
This place is tired! Seat covers torn and not a very appealing appearance. Plenty of great baseball memorabilia but that's not what you pay for. It took almost an hour to be served our meal and the steaks were barely warm, and one filet was cold and burnt even though the order was med. rare. To make matters worse, the...

All reports on the steaks were very good, all cooked and served as ordered. A massive improvement on our Ruth's Chris experience earlier on in the week - this place was head and shoulders above.
I have never had an interest in baseball but the decorations are tactfully done without resorting to an all out sports bar,...

Dined here last week with several work colleagues . Service was excellent, right down to the personal escort to help me find the washroom, and the speedy retrieval of my napkin which ended up on the floor. Steak was excellent, Caesar salad was okay but not as much flavour as I expected. Had a mouthful of my colleague's chelate dessert...

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge at our hotel...based on the recommendation, we expected great... several signature steaks on the menu were not available... the alternate steaks were good... not great... lobster was absolutely tasteless... we did not stay for desert. Staff was courteous, but certainly knew their kitchen was underperforming...
We had a reservation at 8:15 and we arrvied at 8 and was seated right away. The meal was Amazing and atmosphere was very nice. Our waiter was the best waiter I think I have ever had. He really did a good job taking care of us. The food was $$$ but you get what you pay for. We will...

Mike Shannon's is one if the best steak houses in St Louis. The dining room thrives with sports memorabilia. From the hostess to the servers you are treated even as a first time diner as if you had been there many times. Steaks are incredible.
I attended a business meeting lunch in the basement banquet room this week. We had a limited selection menu...filet, salmon or chicken. I had the salmon and it was superb! They had broccoli rabe served homestyle and it also was totally yummy!
Visited Shannon's again this year with a group of 7. The good: they gave us a great corner table, with good city view, a great server, and provided us with above average steakhouse fare. The bad: prices were high, and food, while good, simply did not justify it. Had a cheaper meal at Ruth's Chris a couple of night's later,...
