A Fine Meal

My wife, daughter and I visited on a weekend for lunch. I had the linguine with clam sauce. My wife had the capellini alla zia. My daughter had the chicken parmigiana. The food was very good (although my clam sauce was a bit thick). The capellini was the best of the three entrees. My... read more

The food was delicious, and the service was very good. I had the chicken special for that evening, and it was an excellent choice. My dinner included a side order of pasta, and I like the fact that Zia's offers a choice of three different sauces on your pasta (white/cream sauce, red/tomato sauce, and olive oil with garlic). The olive... More

It is really disappointing when an old friend is not doing well, and this old friend is either too tired or has just stopped caring. Yes they had toasted Ravioli, but they just did not have that crisp snap and cheesy meaty filling. I ordered the "special" a chicken dish with prosciutto, provolone, mushrooms on what was supposed to be... More

Was told by a buddy whom frequents St. Louis regularly to try this place. Went on a Monday night at 6pm and found a parking spot easily. Got to the restaurant and was seated immediately. Waitress was very nice and took care of us. Had the toasted seafood ravioli for an appetizer. Wasn't too impressed with it. A little too... More

If you think Olive Garden is good Italian food then this is your place. On the other hand if you are looking for real Italian food keep driving. Even though it is on the Hill that does not authenticate the food. On par with Caleco's from years ago.

Showed up on a Thursday evening no reservation with a tour bus parked outside...yeah it was not looking good for our first trip to Zia's. To our surprise we were seated very quickly and despite our server also handling a large group with the tour bus she quickly got our drinks (amazing fast service from the bar - old folks... More

Someone recommended this restaurant at our hotel, so we drove from downtown St. Louis to the area where this restaurant is located. It was easy to find. Parking was another situation. It was difficult to find a spot to park. There were two of us, and we waited 30-40 minutes before a seat was available. We waited in the bar... More

I went with a group of 4. We had a variety of dishes. All were excellent, and the service was great. You should eat at this restaurant.

I ate the chicken Parmesan. It was divine. The spaghetti sauce was out of this world. I want to try the other places in the hill but I really think I'll just end up going there every time.
