We ate here in April 2009. The place had that old fashion soda shop look and feel. When you walk into the restaurant you can smell the chocolate and sweets. Yes, this place has been open for many years. It does have a sort of 1940's soda shop vibe. The food & sweets are good. And that's it: end of story. It is not worth driving around to find it. What took me so long to go here? This place is everything good it's said to be and then some. I found it very easy to get to (but I do "know" STL well). take I 70 to Branch, go south/west to 14th street & hang a left. It's a few blocks, on the corner of 14th and St. Louis... more
