My special ocassions spot!

My friends and I always come here after one of us gets a tattoo as a sort of celebratory ritual. The place has terrific food and good historical ambiance. The inside is lovely, as are their gardens. The only thing that is kind of difficult is if you are a food allergy diner. The staff does go out... read more

When a friend recommended this place, I was expecting classic Irish dining...what we got was a pub with a palate. We had the homemade chips with malt vinegar which were so delicious as a starter. I had the bangers and mash. The bangers were homemade and were bursting with excellent flavor. My girlfriend had the stuffed chicken breast with asparagus.... More

This is a great place to eat in the Soulard area. The outdoor patio is second to none. The sandwiches are all pretty good and one of the favorites is the potato soup!! It's a great place for lunch or dinner or just to have a few drinks and enjoy the awesome patio!

This is one of my favorite places to eat in St. Louis. We especially like to sit outside in good weather. They have an excellent list of craft beers on tap and an even bigger list of bottles of interesting brews. The food is excellent and the service was just fine. Highly recommended.

Had lunch here with friends and sat out on the fantastic patio. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. It's a small and simple menu but I don't think you'd be disappointed with anything on it. Service was great for how busy it was. Would definetly go back!

Awesome atmosphere everything you would expect from an Irish pub. Great food I had corned beef and my wife had the bangers and mash. Then we stuck around for the band it was a traditional irish band thick accents and all they sang all the Irish beer drinking songs it was great.

I don't typically feel then need to write a review after having a bad experience. I just choose not to return to that place of business. However, the experience I had at this Pub yesterday may be the worst service I've ever had. I've traveled around the world and around the country. We were meeting a diverse group of friends... More

If you love live Irish music and great food, then McGurks is the place for you! Love their ranch dressing, hot wings and potatoe skins. Add a couple of brews and fun music, it's a wonderful night! You can sit close to the music or further away if you wanna chat with friends. They also have a patio! Parking is... More

My wife and I came here after our birthday dinner for a cold pint and were thrilled to find out that a "pickup band" was playing traditional Irish music! What a treat! We were told by the wait staff that the band was a hodge podge of musicians that had not necessarily played together before. They were fantastic and very... More
