Excellent BBQ

We got a full slab of ribs and two sides to go. Everything was very good. The ribs were excellent... Fell right off the bone. Great flavor and very tender. We've had ribs from several places around us in Michigan and none even come close to this place and never will. We are quite particular when it... read more

Had lunch here by default and did not regret it. Excellent BBQ for "The Lou". (Texas BBQ is near and dear to my heart however.) Had the "Pick 2", brisket and tri-tip, and both were excellent along with my sides of 'tater salad and cole slaw. Would definitely go back again next time I'm in "The Lou".

Bogart's has the best BBQ and that is saying something when STL has a lot of BBQ joints around town. Their smoked meat is always of the highest quality and mouth-watering delicious. Their sides are also excellent, which is a departure from most BBQ places. It is rare to find a place that has both great BBQ and great sides.... More

The meats get the rave reviews, but it's the sides which are over-the-top great. My spouse and I have made a study of BBQ in Memphis, Texas and Kansas City, and nothing beats Bogart's. Just enjoyed lunch; hadn't been there in a few months; it's even better than I remembered. Do not miss the 'best on earth' potato salad.

Stopped in here on a traveling cross country trip. By word of Anthony Bourdain. We also stopped in 4 other states on a best bbq quest and I have to say Bogarts takes the lead.

This is a small restaurant located walking distance from Soulard Market. They serve a lot of BBQ for their size. On nice days, there is additional seating outdoors. BBQ was delicious.

I've been coming to this restaurant since they opened. I must say, this is the most flavorful, delicious, consistent, barbecue I've ever had. The ribs are by far the most flavorful, tender, smoke-filled, finger licking ribs you can buy.... and that's with no sauce on them. Another favorite of mine are the burnt ends, and the pulled pork. The tri-... More

We went for a few ribs and walked away with a grocery bag of delicious goodies. The ribs were excellent, but we also brought home a container of smoked tri-tip which was as good as the ribs. Expect a short wait but definitely worth it.

Immediately upon entering we were greeted by friendly smiling faces and welcomed inside. We were given clear directions of the process...order then find a seat! Food was delicious and very fast.
