Great Food

got there at 10:30am for an early lunch; casual seating for 10 in the middle. ordered fast, food came out fast and it was fabulous. Had burnt ends and pulled pork sandwich. all four sauces were good but liked the inferno sauce the best. it was spicy but not super hot. Sides were good too... read more

We went to St. Louis for a day trip.... had lunch and supper there. We ate at this place per all the positive reviews. I tried all the meat they had... not nearly what I was expecting. Nice people but the food is way over rated.

One of the best bbq spots in the Lou. Affordable and filling. Don't be fooled by the Pappy's train. I've met him personally and he partners with one of the owners of Bogart's. Bogart's has a smoother flow, although it's pretty cramped when it's compared to Pappy's but it's designed for take-out. The ribs are always tender and take my... More

Living in Soulard I am a bit biased but you can't beat Foulard market and a little Bogarts. If you like Pappy's you will like this.

My hubby is a BBQ snob and had to try this place while in St. Louis. Awesome ribs. Love the deviled egg potato salad - very unique and delicious. Love the way the owner chats with customers while waiting in line. BBQ snob hubby agreed this is some of the best. Ate here for the first time in August 2014.... More

Good bbq Current hype drive the crowds. There are many other equally good bbq in STL. Long lines but moves efficiently. Workers are friendly. Sides are weak at Bogarts...No Fries, No Cornbread, No Corn on the Cob. I personally prefer Pappy's ribs, but the meats are generally better at Bogarts. Brisket is surprisingly tough at Pappys. You could argue all... More

It's my second time here. Like the first time, I was amazed by the quality of the meats. It's worth the try. And go for the deviled egg potato salad. It was excellent. All the experience is worth the 20 minute wait in the lineup.

Stopped by here the other day for pork and brisket, meat was perfectly cooked very tasty. But for me, the best part was the sides. Hands down, they served the best potatoe salad and baked beans. To me, portions were a little small on the meat, but more than enough sides to make up for it. Tip: This is a... More
