Lunch Superb in every way

We went for dinner before the theatre. I have eaten at 5 star restaurants and eclectic ones too across the states - yet this place has a menu that is so ridiculous to read. I asked the server to explain a few items - she could not. :/ So I ordered the fish and when I received it - it... More

I've heard nothing but good things about this place so I decided to try it when I was in town. All I can say is that this restaurant is highly acclaimed for good reason. Everything, except some of the seafood of course, is local and everything on the menu is of good quality. The waitress recommended ordering 1-2 of the... More

I've been here three times and won't go back. Something went down with the wait staff each time we came and after three strikes I'm moving on. The food is just not good enough to put up with bad service. The food scene in St Louis has a lot going on these days, so take my advice and try someplace... More

First time at Farmhaus and must say I don't understand all the rave reviews. The concept is nice and the people are super friendly but the flavors were just not there. For starters they tell you to order family style so that you may get to taste many things. That is fine but many of the dishes are such small... More

When we travel to St Louis, this is a must visit restaurant. The cocktails here are first rate, made with the highest quality ingredients. We ordered a variety of small plates and were delighted by all. Try the roasted mushroom salad, sesame noodles, chicken torchon, or cotechino. If you want a real treat try the Porchetta Bao, steamed buns with... More

Farmhaus is a small, neighborhood restaurant for "foodies". The menu is relatively small and eclectic with an interesting assortment of small plates and entrees. The portions are smaller but absolutely delicious. Be prepared to spend a little more here but expect creative and original offerings for a refreshing meal. Farmhaus offers great food in a comfortable environment and we will... More

There's only one meal on the menu for lunch, but it will probably be the best meal you have ever had. I went on Monday, it was fried chicken. Comes with an amazing salad, mashed potatoes, mac + cheese and amazing fried chicken, and iced tea. Can't wait to go back!!

We went to this foodie haunt with a party of 15 or so on a Thursday evening. There were people from New York City, St Louis, Philadelphia, Detroit, Boston and Vancouver (my wife and I). The food was wonderful small plates with nice sized portions. We almost ordered everything on the small menu of goodies. A member of our party... More

I ate here as one of a party of 13. The dining room is small but not claustrophobic. The atmosphere is casual; you'll be comfortable in jeans. The service was impeccable. I've eaten in formal restaurants that could learn from the service here. We were constantly tended to without any sense of hovering. Cudos (and brew) for the crew! But,... More
