Tremendous!!

My wife and I have been trying to find new restaurants and Farmhaus did not fail to live up to reviews from friends. Farmhaus is in a neat little building, you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for it. Seating is tight but cozy, we had a table in the bar area. It is not cheap and you... read more

A set lunch at Farmhaus with a salad, main course and iced tea is $10 and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I especially dig the fried chicken (Monday), and bacon-wrapped meatloaf (Wednesday). Great value, super tasty and an easy choice. I admittedly haven't been here for dinner. I should probably go here for dinner.

We went with another couple and we were excited to try someplace different. The menu is not very large and a lot of the items I didn't know what they were. They suggested we get small plates and share them before we ordered our entree. We did order one and it was different and tasty. The mushroom salad was small... More

My husband and I live down the street from this fabulous restaurant, yet last night was the first time we have been there! The meal was fabulous. We started with the Vietnamese chicken wings-excellent, but would have liked to have more than 3, at least 4 for 2 people. the Gulf Red Grouper also excellent, but not for the lactose... More

Had lunch on Thursday. Started with a rice fritter, surprisingly light and delicious. Followed by fried fish-which was fresh and crisp and flaky-obviously hand cut and lightly breaded. Accompanied by 2 large hush puppies and the most delightful spinach salad with a house dressing-some type of mustard vinagrette-delightful tones of sweet to the slightly bitter greens, the pickled veggies added... We went for dinner before the theatre. I have eaten at 5 star restaurants and eclectic ones too across the states - yet this place has a menu that is so ridiculous to read. I asked the server to explain a few items - she could not. :/ So I ordered the fish and when I received it - it... More

I've heard nothing but good things about this place so I decided to try it when I was in town. All I can say is that this restaurant is highly acclaimed for good reason. Everything, except some of the seafood of course, is local and everything on the menu is of good quality. The waitress recommended ordering 1-2 of the... More

I've been here three times and won't go back. Something went down with the wait staff each time we came and after three strikes I'm moving on. The food is just not good enough to put up with bad service. The food scene in St Louis has a lot going on these days, so take my advice and try someplace... More

First time at Farmhaus and must say I don't understand all the rave reviews. The concept is nice and the people are super friendly but the flavors were just not there. For starters they tell you to order family style so that you may get to taste many things. That is fine but many of the dishes are such small... More

When we travel to St Louis, this is a must visit restaurant. The cocktails here are first rate, made with the highest quality ingredients. We ordered a variety of small plates and were delighted by all. Try the roasted mushroom salad, sesame noodles, chicken torchon, or cotechino. If you want a real treat try the Porchetta Bao, steamed buns with... More
