Excellent food creatively prepared

Farm to table seems to be fairly healthy choice in dining out. We look for that when we go out. We started the meal with the appetizer butchers plate. It was very good. The pork pie was especially tasty. We enjoyed most of it. We all ordered the mushroom salad that was excellent. For the entree two... read more

Nothing was good about our experience! We arrived around 8:40 on a Friday and were greeted by the sommelier who said he'd be happy to help us with any questions once we were settled. The place was surprisingly pretty empty. Waiter knew nothing about the menu other than everything was "great," and admitted he hadn't tasted much on the menu... More

Visited Farmhaus in January 2015 for dinner on a week night with reservation. Plenty of open tables. Service is solid. Waitress knows the menu and quite good at sales and the high priced items, almost to the point of enough. Two at the table had the tagliatelle and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Breakfast which was marginal at best... More

Ate here early on a sleepy Tuesday evening. Warm and friendly greeting, comfortable and intimate space that filled up as the evening progressed. I sat at a table in the bar, and was treated like a special guest - even though it was my first time here. I ordered the tasting menu and wine pairings, tried a signature cocktail, and... More

At first, the facility does not look like much but the atmosphere, service, and food make up for everything it lacks. Our waitress was attentive, witty, and friendly. The food from the charcuterie plate (a wide variety of cheeses, meats, pickled vegetables and sauces), the steak which was prepared and cooked to PERFECTION, the warm mushroom salad was succulent and... We knew going in that this would be a pricey experience but have heard wonderful things about the food, and we were not disappointed. It is a small restaurant so highly recommend reservations. The food has wonderful flavor and is cooked properly, good variety to select from, and if you are wanting the full experience you can get the chefs... More

OUTSTANDING!!! My wife and I went to FarmHaus on Saturday night for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. From the service (our server was Nick) to the food everything was on point. We planned on getting the tasting menu but when we sat down and looked at the regular menu we decided to make our own tasting menu. We... More

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Farmhaus with two other couples Saturday, August 29. Everyone absolutely loved it. The service was wonderful, and not hurried in any way. We arrived right on time, though one couple was about 15 minutes late. No problem. They seated us and got us drinks immediately, and they have nice cocktail, craft beer,... More

Farmhaus is a nice restaurant that has a specialty in seafood dishes that you don't often see in the Midwest. For instance, their "crab fries" are battered segments of crab claws. They were a fun novelty. We also had a fish entrée that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend the Roasted Ozark Mushroom Salad. It was interesting... More

Small portions, not cheap, innovative, fresh, one of our favs!! It is one of the few places my wife thinks the deserts are worth the calories.
