Whahoo

Locally sourced foods prepared fresh and served artfully presented. Wahoo fish was special of the day. Light and delicate flavor was a delicious meal enjoyed by all. Fruit cobbler and mango sorbet was a refreshing close to the dinner.

Farmhaus Restaurant - Boasts Farm to Table cuisine. Getting there you wouldn't know you were at a restaurant as its in a residential neighborhood. Matt met us at the door and seated us while explaining the menu. The chef specializes in seafood so...I ordered Red Snapper for my entrée. Order nachos for an appetizer. Hold onto you hat because it's... More

We enjoyed dinner here with another couple. The place is cozy - on the small side. The tables are close together. There were 30-something couples seated around us. Their specialty is seafood but they have a smattering of all types. They use locally grown foods whenever possible. The service was very good and the food was excellent. At our table... More

We went to FH for the first time last night and it was fantastic! Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable. The food was top notch. I will return again as soon as possible.

We went to dinner here during a short visit to St. Louis. I found the restaurant online and was drawn to it based on its sample menu. We are very happy with the actual experience. We took advantage of the tasting menu and asked for paired wines. We have no complaints about any of the courses and the wines were... More

Not too strong of an opinion. I appreciated the seasonal (in fact, daily) menu with fresh local ingredients. I had heard a lot about Farmhaus, so I expected a bit better though. I did not get the tasting menu, and maybe I should've, as that's usually where great chefs shine. Nonetheless, the food was great, we had a pork roast... More

Farmhaus is a small restaurant in South city. They use organic and locally grown products when available. We had some absolutely wonderful dishes. The wild mushroom salad is amazing. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant is cozy and delightful.

My wife and I have been trying to find new restaurants and Farmhaus did not fail to live up to reviews from friends. Farmhaus is in a neat little building, you wouldn't notice if you weren't looking for it. Seating is tight but cozy, we had a table in the bar area. It is not cheap and you don't get... More

A set lunch at Farmhaus with a salad, main course and iced tea is $10 and makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I especially dig the fried chicken (Monday), and bacon-wrapped meatloaf (Wednesday). Great value, super tasty and an easy choice. I admittedly haven't been here for dinner. I should probably go here for dinner.

We went with another couple and we were excited to try someplace different. The menu is not very large and a lot of the items I didn't know what they were. They suggested we get small plates and share them before we ordered our entree. We did order one and it was different and tasty. The mushroom salad was small... More
