Amazing, unpretentious farm to table restaurant.

My wife and I celebrated her birthday at Farmhaus with two other couples Saturday, August 29. Everyone absolutely loved it. The service was wonderful, and not hurried in any way. Farmhaus is a nice restaurant that has a specialty in seafood dishes that you don't often see in the Midwest. For instance, their "crab fries" are battered segments of crab claws. They were a fun novelty. We also had a fish entrée that was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We highly recommend the Roasted Ozark Mushroom Salad. It was interesting... More

Small portions, not cheap, innovative, fresh, one of our favs!! It is one of the few places my wife thinks the deserts are worth the calories.

We live in the suburbs of St. Louis and regularly trek into the Lindenwood neighborhood, this is also fairly close to Ted Drewes and Pint Size Bakery, both great places here in St. Louis. Some nights we will just do the Butcher's plate and the Forest Mushroom Salad which is a lot of food and so good. That salad is... More

Absolutely amazing. We came with friends and had the ribeye with chantelles and it was incredible. My wife had a salad which was also very good. They do a great job, thanks

The chef Kevin Willmann, was born into a farm family, raised on the Gulf of Mexico, trained in kitchens all over and then came “home” to cook his own food, a passionate blend of local ingredients from Missouri, Illinois, the Mississippi River and the Gulf. I went with a party of 25 and the chef prepared a menu to showcase... More

There were 18 of us that went to eat at Farmhaus. Ambience is casual. It was difficult to choose from their menu. We wanted to try everything. Somebody came up with a good idea. Order everything on the menu which we did. There will be 6 tasters per plate. Thirteen of the 13 entrees were ordered and the 4 desserts... More

There is a reason the chef of this restaurant was nominated for the James Beard award. The food is phenomenal and so creatively put together. For starters the Butcher's Plate is incredible. It changes frequently based on what is available, but ours contained pork pie, pig tongue, homemade head cheese, other cured pork slices where the fat melted in your... More

Locally sourced foods prepared fresh and served artfully presented. Wahoo fish was special of the day. Light and delicate flavor was a delicious meal enjoyed by all. Fruit cobbler and mango sorbet was a refreshing close to the dinner.

Farmhaus Restaurant - Boasts Farm to Table cuisine. Getting there you wouldn't know you were at a restaurant as its in a residential neighborhood. Matt met us at the door and seated us while explaining the menu. The chef specializes in seafood so...I ordered Red Snapper for my entrée. Order nachos for an appetizer. Hold onto you hat because it's... More
