An excellent Filet!

During a recent conference in St. Louis, I walked down the street from the Grand Marriott to the Prime 1000. Since I did not have a reservation, I ate in the bar area. I ordered the French Onion Soup (better than average) and the Filet. The filet was cooked to perfection. An excellent steak at... read more

The food we had was good. The portions are large. It was a slow night so we had a little too much service which isn't really what we wanted for our romantic dinner. The restaurant is nice and it was nice to look out on the street. However, the food and wine wayyy overpriced.

Modern casual steak dining. I was downtown for a conference and had dinner with a vendor. Meal was good the steaks were done perfectly. Classic Steak house style in a nice modern setting. Staff was super friendly and wine list was solid. Very good meal for $80 a person

This is a good steakhouse that offers the basics with a nice twist. It is very convenient to the Renaissance( now the Marriot) .When we were there for a foot ball game, the visiting team coaches were dining there as well; a good sign that the cuisine is respected and well regarded by others. The wait staff was friendly and... More

Great steaks and awesome vegetable side dishes, especially the roasted brussel sprouts. Service was a bit odd and prices on the high end, but the food was top notch.

Steak is only option here. There steaks are bursting with flavor. Herb roasted potatoes for a side is also great. Ranked in my top 5 steaks restaurants. We will be back again.

The servers and hosts did their best, but when it takes 90 minutes to serve a table of 5 when the restaurant has open tables the there is a problem. The kitchen could not get our table's order out at the same time, so 2 people were served and then 15" later the rest were served. You can go somewhere... More

Heard a lot of positive remarks about prime 1000. It does not disappoint! Amazing crab cake and over the top steak! Only complaint which is minor.. Seemed like service was slow.. But worth the wait.. However never heard of any place every running out of potatoes, tuna, shark, shrimp or lobster all in one night! Oh well I would still... More

If you do not like steak then this restaurant is not for you. Steak is what's for dinner. And you will not be disappointed. Cooked to excellence. The sides are delicious as well and compliment the steaks. Make sure to save room for dessert. The homemade pecan pie is outstanding. Great location for dining.

Absolutely the best meal I enjoyed while visiting St. Louis. Excellent service made the food amazing. I have to tell you about a little soup that the chef came up with, cheeseburger soup, it was amazing, worth every penny. The deviled eggs also were a favorite at the table, even drawing comparisons to "Mom's Best". The steak was cooked to... More
