The show is entertaining but don't make reservations. Your credit will be charged if plans change and you can't make it. It is not a total loss if you have to go somewhere else to eat because the show is sold out (doubtful). The food is not good. Everyone in the party pays cash or credit if you make the... More

Visiting St Louis and our daughter made reservations for here. We didn't know what it was about except for what the web site states. Not much to go on there. For some reason I was thinking more along the line of Medieval Times Dinner Theater. NOT!!! The Royal Dumpe is a stage with about 6-8 actors. Audience participation is a... More

Poorly "acted" dinner show, terrible food and unsanitary atmosphere. They shot for the Medieval era and ended up in Dark Ages instead. Okay once in your life I guess. I've been in better ones.

Royal Dumps has great cast and put on a very entertaining show. Dinner left a lot to be desired. Other than the soup the food was horrendous. Still had a blast and laughed until my sides hurt.

This place is quite unique. Although we were unable to stay for the dinner theatre, we hung out in the upper area bar and visited with cast waiting to enter the theatre. They were fun and in character and we had a blast. The furnishings are unique and authentic period. We will try and actually go to the theatre when... More

Where do you even begin? Renaissance style setting. Long tables seating many parties make one big party room all facing a stage. What the stage is used for is- poor singing/acting/humor. Adult style jokes that aren't really funny. Everyone stays in character but it really is a waste of a show. The "wenches" are a copied idea, lack originality and... More

The show was entertaining. Not hilarious. The jester was my favorite. The food was something I could have easily cooked myself, and I'm terrible in the kitchen. Service was great. They paid special attention to those celebrating a special event, which was nice. During dinner the staff fans out to socialize with the customers which is a nice gesture, but... More

Itchy Rumpe talked us into coming inside while we were walking by. We decided to check it out and since we did not have reservations for dinner we instead had drinks and enjoyed the show! Definitely a must if you are in the St. Louis area-- the experience is well worth it!

If you're looking for a place to go with friends for a good time and some adult humor, this is it. If you're looking for 5 star or even 3 star dining, this isn't it. You have to go into it knowing that the humor is a bit raunchy and that the food is not what you're there for. We... More

Show was engaging. Service was wonderful but don't go there hungry because you will be appalled to discover that your dinner will consist of rubbery chicken, a single baked potatoe (forget gravy or sour cream), soggy vegtables, and petit fors purchased from COSCO or SAM's CLUB. The potatoe soup was edible. Adult humour. Not for children.
