We visited on Labor Day, got there around 12:30 pm there was a line but moved quickly. The food was awesome, we had the ribs, chicken and brisket, it was the best brisket I've ever eaten. Also the ribs were awesome and didn't need any sauce but there was a variety if one wanted some. On my next visit to... More

Took a end of summer trip with the family to St. Louis and had to see if the hype was real. Went on a Sunday and waited for about 90 minutes in line drooling over the smell and sight of food coming out. We tried the whole menu and all I can say is Wow! Unbelievable Q! This is a... More

The tour bus driver took us by and told us to try it. I did and like the other hundreds of reviews, my stomach was very happy. Get their early.

There is a line and it is worth the wait. Know what you want when you get to the counter, sit down and they'll bring your order FAST! Don't waste your time on anything other than the ribs. We tried the brisket which was just average. But the ribs...oh my the ribs!!!! Ribs ribs ribs. Did I mention, you should... More

This was great. We were in Texas a few years ago and went to a famous barbecue place and it was horrible so we were cautious. This place was the best. Great service and delicious food. I am so grateful to the trolley tour driver for making us aware of this place.

If you visit St. louis you must east here. The bbq is one of the best I have ever hade. The plate is fool and the sides are great. Get the Sweet potatoe fries, they are awsome.

Half slab of ribs and Beef Brisket Platter with sweet potato fries and corn on the cob. Can't get much better when visiting St. Louis than enjoying a meal here. Line moved quickly and food came out fast. We were worried to find a seat, but the staff handles the crowd well and a table was waiting for us. Enjoyed.... More

There are many good places to get ribs in St. Louis, but Pappy's is the best. You're going to wait in line. For a long time. Just talk to the people around you and enjoy the experience. The wait really isn't as bad as it looks when you first walk up, because Pappy's is very well organized and everything moves... More

If you're in the area, do your tastebuds (if not your waste line) a favour, and check this place out. The good is fantastic! What isn't is the wait. We queued for close to an hour, and that wasn't even peak time. Still, it's worth it!

I'm not going to waste a bunch of words reviewing Pappy's. If you are in St. Louis, go there. Don't worry about a long wait, stand in line and anticipate greatness. I've had barbecue in a lot of places, although I wouldn't call myself an expert. This is EASILY the best brisket I've ever had. I'm actually a pulled pork... More
