If you're looking for an intimate dining experience, look no farther than JC Wyatt House. My girlfriends and I visited this treasure last weekend and were blown away. From the moment we walked up the beautifully landscaped path until we were seated in a luxurious dining alcove, the Victorian ambiance encouraged us to slow our pace and truly enjoy each... More

For years I have heard about this secret in St. Joseph, MO. We finally tried it Halloween Night. The food and ambiance exceeded our expectations. This will definitely be one of our go to restaurants in the future. Only down side is you have to have a reservation and choose your main course in advance, but so worth it.

Well kept secret so I will share-- lunch with girlfriends. Amazing! Owners Jim & Jeff are the best. This is a 5 star fine dining experience that you won't forget. Not only is the 1890's Victorian house a must to see as they have brought it back to its own time period but the food is superb. Menu is changed... More

I had lunch with my niece at this beautiful Victorian Resturant & loved the food, service, owners/chef! Service was impecable! Food presented beautifully & very fresh ingredients. The desert trio was to die for! I liked the concept of calling ahead for reservations & a "menu pick". This way, you have no wait and have the table for as long... More

First the food: I won't spend too much time here other than to say if you want one of the best dining experiences you will have within hundreds of miles--this is the Wyatt House. It should be your only choice. For instance, I have been off salmon for years. Yet, I ordered the roasted salmon as I thought If anyone... More

A couple of guys from New York City want to open their own restaurant. Where do they look? Manhattan? Brooklyn? Staten Island? The cost of rent for a small space in NYC would run more than $10,000 a month. Then, there’s the staff, food, etc. Instead, why not check out St. Joseph, Missouri. Huh? Well, the guys did just that.... More
