Breakfast and service here are great. Interior is decorated with all kinds of Route 66 memorabilia and old nostalgic photos.

Been here twice. The first time, got the chicken salad. It's is completely homemade, so I wasn't completely grossed out when I bit into a big piece of gristle, it was just part of the experience. Second time I got fried cod sandwich. I was super hopeful for a nice flaky piece of fried cod. What I got instead was... More

The rib eye steak was cut from their own cattle herd. The pies are home made. The staff is attentive. Just like home but you don't have to cook.

Had breakfast here one morning while in town for a dog show. I had 2 eggs, sausage, biscuits, hash browns and a coffee. I think the bill was like $8.00 or a little more. A bit expensive for breakfast I thought. The food in itself was ok, the sausage was home made (I think) and was OK. The service could... More

This is a small town cafe that's been around for years. The place is clean and the food is almost as good as mom's. We would not hesitate to recommend this place to out best friends.

The perfect mom-n-pop diner with the perfect breakfast. This place was PACKED on a Sunday morning, and now I know why. It's amazing how many different places I've eaten breakfast at that can mess up bacon & scrambled eggs. This place does 'em right, and according to my wife, the sausage & gravy is top notch, too. A "can't miss"... More

I stop here frequently for breakfast with my family when I'm home. The food is always awesome. St. Clair is a tinnnny town, people come from miles around to eat here for a reason. Prices are reasonable. I would give it a 5 but they allow smoking which I do not appreciate. The food is still worth the risk.
