We've been to all three Sugarfire locations. The food is wonderful. The specials change every day. If you friend them on Facebook, you can see the daily special. Sides change too, but they keep the basic ones all the time. They have lots of different BBQ sauce options. The decor is eclectic and a lot of fun, the food is... More

How do you know the stuff is good? Because they don't even need to put it on a plate for you to eat it. They just slap some butcher paper on a food tray and drop the meat in the middle. And you'll be eating with 2 hands before you know it. We sampled the ribs, brisket and pulled pork.... More

Had the brisket and it was kinda dry. Baked beans are....not baked beans. Just out of the can. Coleslaw was decent. Mac n cheese was ok. Ribs were not fall off the bone. Just doesnt compare to pappys. Was very disappointed since this place is close to the house. Will not recommend or go back.

Our baked beans definitely aren't out of any can, but I'm sorry if you weren't that impressed with your meal! We usually get great feedback about our brisket and our ribs, so it's a shame to hear you didn't have the same feelings. Hope you might try us out again sometime. Take care, Mike, Owner More

You must try Sugarfire! Honestly, probably the best BBQ in STL. They have specials that change every day (and some side items that change each day too). The turkey is delicious. The brisket and pulled pork melts in your mouth. Try the smoked artichoke appetizer--sooo good! Lots of unique sauces to try. Eclectic vibe and the staff is great. I... More

Housed in an old Chuck A Burger restaurant the owners have transformed the drive-in to a barbecue restaurant, and the whole idea from the food and how you order etc work really well. You might have to stand in line but it moves along and your food will be on your tray pretty quickly. Let me also mention that the... More

We have been meaning to stop in for months and finally did. We liked so many things- the laid back atmosphere, the menu selection, friendly staff, outdoor seating option, and the food! This place is delicious and looking forward to bringing friends with us next time!

This place is fantastic! We have tried the brisket, pulled pork, ribs, an assortment of sides and a couple of desserts. Wasn't wild about the green beans, but everything else has been fantastic. The brisket is so tasty! The selection of BBQ sauces makes it a fun trial and error experience too. The pulled pork was yummy! The lines are... More

we were in St. Louis on vacation and were told to stop by and we are very glad we did. there was a line but it was worth the wait. the food is fantastic and the servings are very generous. the side dishes were amazing. besides the standard beans, slaw, and potato salad; they had ratatouille and orzo-mushroom-Parmesan. our table... Went here for my son birthday. He had several people recommended this restaurant to him. We all know why. It was the best BBQ we have had in the area. Large portions and a variety of sauces. The only down side is all sides are separate. Everything was delicious. Everyone should try this place. Yum.
