St. Charles is quaint little town on the banks of the Missouri river. We stopped to have lunch at Lewis and Clark. The selection of food was interesting and looked good. It was a very cold day so my daughter and granddaughter ordered hot chocolate. It was made with luke warm water and some kind of chocolate syrup. It was... More

Lewis and Clark's never disappoints us. The food is good and hot, the staff are great. There is ample seating (there should be with 3 floors of tables plus a balcony!). Our last visit there we were a table of 8 and it took literally no time to get us a table and this was on a Saturday night! I... More

I went there when there was Oktoberfest and I had had the stir fry, it was spicy but it was good nonetheless. I always love coming because the food is always good and the service is always great.

Off-season visitors sometimes meet with exhausted and disinterested waiters and shop owners. From what we experienced, St. Charles isn't like that and we really enjoyed our visit and this restaurant.

Lewis & Clark's restaurant sits at the cross roads of old meets new. Sitting literally in the middle of the Historic district, it offers a good destination for traditional American fare of salads and sandwiches. It is a multi-level building with seating on a balcony overlooking Main Street. The bar area is somewhat small and you are met by it... More

We were touring the town and decided to eat lunch here!! It is an old building but very beautiful!! We were seated on the 2nd floor and had a view of the town while enjoying our lunch! I had a Cajun chicken sandwich and it was so tender it just melted in your mouth!! One of the best I've had!... More

I love the historical St Charles district and decided to meet up with a few of my fellow travelers here. Great idea! They have a great beer selection (to include Trailhead brews) as well as a nice wine selection. The food is moderately prices, large portions, and was delicious. Our server was excellent. Definitely worth a try if your in... More

Great staff. Nice location. Food was common and not exceptional other than the cheese sticks. Cajun shrimp was over cooked and way over spiced. Steak medallions was average. Probably a good place to get a burger, sandwich or salad for lunch.
