This resturant needs new food service --chefs and servers. Food bland and not presented well. Such a great location! Great building -- with an up grade in food and service would be packed all the time.

My wife and I had high hopes for Little Hills. The restaurant was always busy and we had a few people mention how great it was. I can't help but wonder if the people that told us it was great had too much wine because we were so disappointed that we almost walked out of the restaurant. We went for... More

The host was welcoming as was the atmosphere - fire pits in the outdoor seating, a folk singer playing guitar in the background. It seemed like a great place to end our weekend stay in the area. We stopped for supper on a Sunday night and were seated outside, but someone was smoking at the next table and we asked... More

I love ghost stories .. I am crazy about them actually .. So this being October and all it's a perfect time to introduce you one of several ghosts that reside in my neighborhood. I live in St.Charles Missouri. This small town along the Missouri River dates back more than two centuries. The footprints of history have left their mark... More

We stopped for lunch on a beautiful Saturday. We were promptly greeted and seated outside close to one of the many fire pits. Our server took our drink orders and then our food orders and it was downhill from there. I had the steak sandwich which had no seasoning and no taste but did have a long piece of fat... More

Stopped by for lunch on a beautiful autumn afternoon so I had to sit on the patio. The patio is in a wonderful location in the middle of Main Street. Nice breeze, people slowly strolling down Main Street.... it was such a nice spot and such a nice day, I could have sat there all afternoon! However the food and... More

We've been taking in the ambience of sitting directly in the patio area (with loads of fire pits, fire places & multi-levels) at all times of the year. Of course, fall and spring offer some of the best experiences. Over the years, prices at the winery have become what we consider to be pretty pricey compared to establishments of a... More

I have been to the Little Hills Winery multiple times. I have never had efficient service. On this visit the waitress completely forgot that my brother ordered an appetizer while they were waiting on us to arrive. We all ordered basic menu items and it took forever (and I have been told I have the patience of a saint). Food... More

Little Hills Winery is located in the Historic District of St. Charles. We ate here twice while in the area. Both times we asked to be seated in the outdoor patio area. Beautiful setting for lunch. Also a great place to people watch! The service was outstanding, the food amazing. My husband had the bacon, egg, lettuce & tomato sandwich... More
