Afternoon drink

My husband & I stopped in for a drink while walking historic Main Street. We were seated outside next to a fire pit, which was really cool & very nice. It's a great outdoor space. Wine list was ok, beer selection limited. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip & again, it was just ok. Definitely a... read more

The novelty of of sitting out by a fire pit draws us back. We just make it a point to eat here or have a drink here when in old St. Charles. It is one of those places that just makes for good memories.

We have previously eaten at this restaurant. We went on a crowded day and were told that it would be a 30 minute wait. We went for a short walk. When we came backand wanted to check where we were on the waiting list, we were told that our reservation was cancelled because we walked away. When I protested, the young... More

I have been to the Little Hills Winery on several occasions now, each time hoping it will exceed my expectations...and each time falling short. For a winery...the selection is limited and overpriced. The pours are not generous. The servers seem disinterested in the patrons often disappearing for long stretches. And the food does not merit the asking price. While the... More

My two children have been to this resturant with me on a few occasions. We sat out on the patio in the sunshine. On cold days, they have a fire to keep their guests warm. Beautiful view of the historic buildings. The staff is warm and friendly from the hostess to the managers. The waiters gave excellent service. The food... More

We have been going there for many years. The draw is first of all the outside dining when weather permits. When cool, they generally have a fire or 2 going. The food is good and service even better. A bit on the pricey side, but this is a winery, not Mickey D's. I don't rate it higher simply because I... More

The two of us dropped in on a gorgeous Saturday night an hour before closing. We sat next to the fire pit that had pulled us in from across the street. The patio was barely lit, the fire pits and candles on some tables mingled with the old-fashioned street lights were really the only lights. We ordered the Thyme and... More

Stopped in for some drinks and appetizers on a gorgeous spring day on the patio. Large outdoor seating, very pleasant. We really enjoyed the appetizers - dirty fries were yummy! Kids really liked the fried pickles & toasted ravioli. Would like to try the dinner sometime but would definitely come back for drinks & apps on the patio! Friendly staff... More

Simple don't go all food is from a can of some sort heated in a microwave then served. You can do better at home.

We ate here because of the outdoor seating as it was a beautiful day. The servers try hard and are persistent, some patience is needed- but it doesn't ruin the experience. They have a broad wine selection. My wife loved the chocolate covered strawberry- if you order it as them to hold the chocolate sauce they smear on the glass,... More
