Charming old home where you can have some great food and the shopping is fun too.

I frequently bring out of town guests here so they can enjoy the charm of this quaint old home. The menu is quite different. Their lemonade made with milk is definitely different. It's hard to decide between all of the salads, sandwiches and desserts . We frequently "share" so we can have a... read more

Was disappointed in the change of decore since it has new ownership. I didn't feel like it had the tea room atmosphere any more more of an artsy place with artist work for sale. I ordered a sandwich which was nothing special. Doubt if I will go back.Did check out the upstairs and it looked like they had a cute... More

I've lived in St. Charles for 22 years and had NEVER been ! I've heard it about for years, but never had or took the opportunity to go. Last week I went for lunch w/my daughter and granddaughter (age 3). They have a large selection of menu items, and serve breakfast all day. When asked if she wanted "French toast... More

Our group enjoyed our holiday luncheon in this festive old mansion on the outskirts of main street in St. Charles. It was like stepping into a Dickens novel. The interior was warm and inviting and so festive. The staff was fantastic. Everyone at our table loved their food from home made soups, quiches and wonderful salads. The desserts were divine... The atmosphere was pleasant, the food was amazing and the artwork was great. Mark Twain never looked so good and the artwork gave the old style house some needed updating and a unique touch. I had the Quiche Lorraine and the Cranberry Bistro Salad along with a flavored ice tea. Our meal was very fresh and we enjoyed every bite.... More

Always have loved Miss America B's. It has a new ownership and I not quite sure if I like it as much as the old ownership. Yes, the food is still delicious, but the portions seem smaller. The desserts are still very yummy. The new decor does not fit the grandeur of this historical home. Apparently the new owner husband... More

This is a very charming and quaint little place with so much charm. The menu has many salads and sandwiches. They also serve breakfast all day. I had the small salad with bacon, walnuts, mixed greens, red onions with a raspberry vinaigrette. I was surprised that they did not offer bread on the table. I think this would be a... More

Miss Aimee B's looks to be a traditional Victorian tea room, but it is so much more. Everything is made in house and tastes wonderful. There are different quiche on the menu every day and several soups as well. A wonderful and unique beverage is milk lemonade which is delicious! Make sure to save room for dessert as these are... It's such a charming place, I wish I could rate it higher. But, the food isn't special. We did have an exceptional waitress who almost made up for the very mediocre food.
