After riding 237 miles on the Katy Trail, the Bike Stop Cafe was a vegetarians oasis in a sea of BBQ and chicken joints along the trail. The vegetarian chili is OUTstanding and so cool to be surrounded by biking culture folks who work there.

I was here to greet some friends and then do some Katy trail riding and I arrived very early - A large tour of the Katy was kicking off from the Café that morning and they quickly served us all. I had the wrap called the Century which is pretty much a Denver omelet in wrap form. It was excellent... More

These people know their bikes, the Katy Trail and make some really good food and coffees too. They are friendly and helpful. Rent a bike and hit the trail.

My husband and I first found out about this place last year and we have been using them to rent bikes from ever since. They are very reasonable when it comes to there bike rentals and they are very polite. They have bikes for everyone including the kids, which we have rented as well. They are very fair about when... You can rent bikes to ride on the nationally famous Katy trail just a few feet from the door after you sample a great tasting sandwich at a reasonable price. Sit outside on the brick patio and enjoy the historic Main street of St. Charles.

Bike Stop Cafe provides local folks and all kinds of travelers tempting meals at a fair price. On July 16 polite, gracious workers served yummy entrees with a hint of gourmet flair. Hungry football players might scoff at portions, but of our group of two adults and three kids with healthy appetites, only one 10 year old boy (with size... More

My family was in St. Charles for a wedding and chose this spot for a quick bite of breakfast on a Saturday. Seating was limited, but after only a few minutes, we were able to take a 5 person table as someone else got up to leave. The regular coffee was great, as was my aunt's latte that I tried.... More

A great day! After 20 miles stopped for ice tea and snacks at unusual combination of bike shop and cafe! An innovative menu and lovely patio overlooking the Missouri River. I'll make this regular stop.

A great HUGE cup of coffee and a tasty large wrap (can be shared - unless you are very hungry). Place your order, and they will bring it to you while you enjoy your coffee sitting outside looking at the park and river. So relaxing and you can bring your dog. A great little find -- I'll be back even... More
