There are endless restaurant options on Main Street. We were looking for some tasty, substantial sandwiches and were very pleased with our meal. Their outside patio is very pretty and offers enough shade even on sunny days. Besides, they have indoor seating with air con, but that looked a bit deserted. Their opening hours are limited (11 to 4), but... More

Nice to little place to stop for lunch in a cute town. Typical sandwiches. Poor decor with plastic tablecloths. Service was good.

Family owned and very kind. Service was a little slow, but they got packed when we were there. The outdoor seating area is lovely and the meals have been good. But we're not always sure when they're opened. The signage isn't always good about that.

We just stopped in for a light snack around 3 p.m. We had a bowl of potato soup which arrived with a basket of warm rolls, and it was absolutely fabulous!! The food arrived quickly and the owner was friendly and informative. The menu had a great selection and we are looking forward to our next visit!

I had the onion soup and it seem to be separated as if there was oil in it. Lots of chesse on top so not too bad. My friends had the potato soup and pronounced it wonderful. They were very friendly and service was good. I had the tiramisu and it was very moist with lots of cream. My friends... More

Riding my bicycle from Klondike Park CG, I had not found any restaurants for breakfast yet. Arrived at St. Charles around 11 am and the waiter in the Garden invited me in. Had delicious quiche and strawberry salad and iced tea outside in the garden. Just what I needed.

Highly recommend! Mother son combo own and operate this hidden gem. Quiche of the day and strawberries salad were both delicious made with fresh, local ingredients.

We just had a snack here while we were shopping, but I had to submit a review, because the bread pudding was the best we've ever had. I don't even like bread pudding, but I will stop there next time we are in the area.

We were in Old St. Charles on a Saturday night during the Christmas festivities . . . the streets were pretty well packed for a "posada" despite the chilly rain . . . We wanted to have some supper -- but most of the better-known bar/restaurants along Main Street were packed -- and LOUD. We were browsing in a coffee/condiment... More
