Famed lemonade stand : Not a bad stop for a little small town flavor... the flavor is that of a melted cherry popsicle, not really lemonade. It is good, but very sweet ( and this coming from someone who likes sweet) The food was good, so your reason to stop should be to soak up some small town charm, tradition,... More

On the way home from the Ozark River, we drove through Poplar Bluff and checked my TA app to find some good BBQ. I enjoy sampling this staple in as many places as possible, as every area has their own pin on it. We ordered some sandwiches (no slaw on mine, ever, thank you), and we're pleased with the quick... My mother grew up in Poplar Bluff and when my daughter and husband and myself come to town to visit relatives, we always stop in. I have eaten barbeque in many cities and areas and nothing compares to Haydens. It is a lot better than all these so called bbq places that have gone into the cities over the last... More

This is one of my local favorites. Everything is good, but the pink lemonade is unbelievably awesome! That alone is worth the stop.

On the first day out of our "Find a warmer place to spend some time" we stayed overnight in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. About 7:00 we ventured out for dinner which, based on Internet research, we chose Hayden’s Drive In - a place known for good burgers, smoked ham and pink lemonade. It has been around since 1948. Located off the... More

We had not ate here in years so we decided to as we were near. I feel its over priced. Woudnt go out of my way to eat here. The bbq sandwhiches are the size of a childs hamburger at mcdonalds. The pink lemonade is pretty good but over priced.

I have lived in the area almost 25 years. My husband grew up here. Haydens is the place to go! If you want good lod fashioned bbq without all the frills go there! The pink lemonade is always awesome and a must to go with the ribs!

We looked Haydens up on the internet while we were traveling from out of town. Read the reviews and thought it sounded pretty good. My daughter orderd a BBQ sandwich..it was dry...me and my husband orderd double cheeseburgers that were not doubles at all.. they weren't very big either. My son had a corndog.. generic...and fries..nothing special.. we also tried... More

Kinda off the beaten path big thanks to GPS, no problems. Located in a residential setting just off the main drag several blocks. Neat little dinner that's 1950's retro and takes you back in time. Spotless dining area and restrooms. Wife ordered pulled pork sandwich with a salad and baked beans and I ordered pulled pork sandwich with fries and... More

Hayden's Drive-In is should be on a historical map. If you like a sweet and tangy BBQ and probably one of the best lemonades I have ever had in my life. This is the place for you. It is very similar to Kansas City BBQ thats sweet and tangy. The only downfall is it is busy at lunch, so get... More
