I admittedly didn't know it was ever warranted to give a one star, but now I have found a restaurant in which I can honestly give this rating. The food was not edible -- way, way, way too much sodium. I had the gyros and had a difficult time identifying the meat on the plate amongst the onions and other... More

I read the reviews and told the wife Hey maybe we need to go try them again. They must see me coming and head for the hills. I Don't get it. The food is bland, covered by sodium, OK the salad was OK. But by far nothing on this dark hole in the wall makes it excellent. I live in... More

Wanted to try this place for a while. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Ultimately, this is not the best Mediterranean food I have had, but it was still good. Once you get into the restaurant, it is a nice place. The hummus was okay and for $4.50 we didn't get very much. Same with the rest of the... More

From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed! It is so great to find authentic, freshly made Mediterranean food in Parkville! And the fried chicken is just as tasty! Great value, great food and beautiful owners!

The mediterranean entrees are outstanding, well seasoned and tasty. Lentil soup was exceptional. Lamb and beef dishes are well worth the trip. Service as pokey and uneven, took a long time for food and had to ask twice for check. Definitely need some training. Overall though, some of the best mediterranean food in KC.

Food was good and the Entertainment was great! This place is a hidden treasure. I'm not sure how many times per week they have entertainment but Saturday was great...light jazz, guitar and saxophone.

My experience with this restuarant was not the same as everyone elses. We arrived at around 5:00pm there was only 2 other ladies in the restuarant, they took our order. At 5:30 the waitress came back and said it would be just a few minutes more that was fine with us.At around 5:40 the waitress brought out the kids dinners and said... More

Actually decided to have our daughter's college graduation celebration at Cafe Cedar. She loves Mediterranean food and the location had everything we needed. The owners could not have been more accommodating-they went out of their way to make our celebration a huge success. The food was delicious-hummus,pita,tabbouleh,feta,olives,falafel...all laid out on an Aston-Martin convertible buffet! YUMMY!! Also, it was great to... More

The food is awesome, the lentil soup is great. Should serve a little more pita bread with meals. Also need to have some windows to open the place up, i know its brick but its a little musty inside.
