Although the food is average, servers bring pass-arounds by frequently, and the roll throwers get hot rolls to your hand quickly and accurately, often throwing behind-the-back passes. On your birthday you get a huge cinnamon roll to take home. It's a fun place to bring friends and relatives.

Service was excellent and fun atmosphere. I order greens for one of my sides and it was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Food was very good but way too salty. Others in my party thought it was too salty as well. Didn't have any children with us and didn't need dessert as the servings are huge! We all... More

Come hungry, the portions are huge! I had been before but this was my hubby's first time. He was really impressed. We went around 4pm and got right in. February is the off season in the area so most stuff isn't too packed. We loved everything we tried. We will be back.

This is an unusual restaurant. The sides are brought around to the tables in big pots and served hot. The rolls arrive by air. The servings are huge. And the value cannot be beat.

Limited handicapped parking. Food and atmosphere was great. Home of the "thrower rolls".. Don't go if your not hungry, plenty of southern style comfort food. Make sure you have cash or check, they don't take credit cards.

The food is so good and you get lots of it. I got the chicken fried steak. The best I have ever had. Excellent..The rolls are very light. The okra is very addictive. It is fried and seasoned perfectly. Wonderful place to go.....

My one problem with Lambert's.........I have to ask for a "doggy bag" because I eat to much of the food that is brought around to all the tables. A little of this, a little of that, and then here comes my dinner. Good food and plenty of it. A fun place to eat.

My husband and I went during the "off season" for Branson, so we were able to get right in. Hubby got the fried chicken, which he Raved over - and still tells everyone about it: Fried perfectly, yet still moist and not greasy! I had the chicken and dumplings. They were delicious. They continuously serve several pre-chosen sides (in spite... More

We just moved to the Springfield area. Lamberts was recommended by a family friend. The wait to get a table was about 30 minutes. However, it was well worth the wait! The portion was HUGE and the hot rolls that are thrown across the room were yummy! I had the Chicken Fried Steak it defiantly didn't disappoint, and the Fried... More
