Wow! A must visit if near Springfield or Branson, MO.

We had driven by Lamberts for years and never stopped in until this year and boy are we glad we did. We hit the restaurant at the right time. They were definitely busy, but we waited all of a few minutes to be seated. The food was awesome and there was plenty of it. The "Pass arounds" were great... read more

The food is plentiful and tasty. It's important to keep in mind that when you order your entrée and sides you will also get the passed around sides. Spaghetti and tomatoes, black-eyed peas, fried potatoes, fried okra, and of course tasty rolls that are baked fresh and then tossed to you by servers. You will be offered desert but I've... More

First, the prices are very reasonable. The portion sizes are fine. Service was a little bit down this time, and the quality of food is not as good as I remember it. Not bad, just not as good as I remember previously.

We waited an hour at 2:00 on a Wednesday afternoon to get in to eat. The food was good and there was plenty of it. I had meatloaf and my husband had chicken gizzards. Definitely southern fair. They do throw the hot rolls to you, which is kind of unique. I don't think I would wait to eat here again.

The rolls are excellent, the food is good, but why oh why wouldn't they take reservations or let you call ahead? On our drive home from Branson we stopped here for dinner at 5:30 and didn't get seated until almost 7:00. That's a two and a half our stop (including eating time) on an already long drive. Although good, we... More

What a great place to eat. The prices were reasonable, and you got a lot of food--even without all the extra they bring by. They throw the rolls to you, which is kind of fun. The food is great. It is ALWAYS packed--no matter when you go. This time I went alone, and they seated me immediately. Because I was... More

Hubby and I stopped in as we hadn't been there for awhile. We had to wait for only 30 minutes. Gave us a chance for potti call and to check out the gift shop. Hubby ordered the meat loaf, with corn and candied yams. He had a small loaf size portion. He said it was really good. I ordered the... More

Stopped by Lambert's on our way back from Branson, Mo and we loved it. First time I've ever been to a place that throw you your rolls. It was a very different experience but I loved it. The food was great and the place is a pretty good size where they can seat very large parties. I look forward to... More
