The food was outstanding and the service so attentive even though they were very busy. The ambiance in the dining rooms upstairs is very comfortable. There are many choices on the menu but the steaks are really excellent.

If you are looking for the most amazing onion rings on the planet. You found them! I know it sounds silly, talking about onion rings at a fine dining restaurant, but it is what it is! They are awesome! Anyway they also have wonderful prime rib and my favorite, the cowboy ribeye. The skewer is good also!

I made a reservation at this restaurant despite mixed reviews online. I wanted my family to have a nice dinner to finish our vacation. Walking in on the basement level everything smelled very musty and like mildew. We were seated upstairs in the dining area. It was very noisy. There were 3 other groups in the room, and the noise... We went to J. Bruner's for Thanksgiving Dinner on November 26, 2015 and had their Thanksgiving Dinner. It was beyond what most people would think of a Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant would be. The turkey that they did was absolutely moist and tender, even the white meat which usually is dry was moist and tender. The mashed potatoes had... More

Took mother in law J. Bruner to restaurant bearing her name, wow what a great dinner! My steak was perfect and my wife had a delicious pork chop. Mother in law had some giant shrimp. You must also try their prime rib soup. Will be going back when in the area again.

The staff was very welcoming and super courteous. Renee R. was our server and she was awesome! We always had something to drink, received helpful information about the menu, and all of our food exceeded expectations!

I recently started coming back and I really enjoy the new manager! She greated us with a smile as we walked in and promptly showed us to our table. The place was busy and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meal. Everything came out great and tasted wonderful! And service was also wonderful! We will definitely be coming back soon!

Excellent food, my rib-eye steak was perfectly done, my wife's a little rare for her taste but she thought it was good. The building could be updated and if you did not have a handicap placard you had to climb a flight of stairs to the dining room. My brother-in law said his filet-mignon was excellent. Our waitress, Angie was... More

Had dinner here with my husband and 2 other couples the evening before Labor Day after hearing that the food was good and seeing good reviews on TripAdvisor. We were all disappointed with the atmosphere and food for the prices that they charge. The place has been open since 1980 and the interior still looks circa 1980. The bottom floor... More
