This is your friendly neighborhood bbq joint. We specialize in great comfort food (think hickory smoked meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy). Wobbly Boots has been praised by Southern Living, Golf Magzine, Lake Lifestyles, and the KC Star. Barbecue is the staple but the burgers, wings and soups are also fantastic.

Mighty fine wings

These wings are as good as any. We had a taste of them the day before at Dog Days (a sister restaurant). I felt the curly fry serving was a tad small. But we had more than enough with the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer - my wife loved them, I felt it was too much bacon, which I had previously... read more

My wife and I ate lunch here during our weeks stay at the Lake, and the food was very average. The service was also just average. This is a sister restaurant to Shorty Pants which I think has much better food and service. Shorty Pants is also located right on the water. I probably won't eat here again.

Staff was excellent, pulled pork great but the best part was the Nachos, fresh veggies, salsa good quality, HUGE portion and plenty of toppings for all the chips. . Pulled pork sliders good too.

My wife and I decided to "eat in" at our rented condo and the Trip Advisor reviews said Wobbly Boots had good BBQ. Since I wanted to ask questions about portion size, I waited to order at the counter when I got to the restaurant. They told me it would take about 20 minutes. 20 minutes later, a box of... More

We live at "The Lake of the Ozarks". My wife & I eat out quite often. Wobbly Boots is one of our favorites. They specialize in BBQ, but do have other foods. This particular restaurant is a remodeled Shoneys. The restaurant decor would fit right in with Texas. It also would look fabulous in Branson. Big long bar, where we... More

I love the name. The food was excellent. I had chicken fried steak that was out of this world. The onion rings were gigantic! Would definitely visit there again!

I ordered for take out for a group of 8 people. The food was average, comparable to Bandanas BBQ. They got our order wrong and we were shorted 1/4 pound of meat and another was the wrong item. Probably won't go back.

My husband and I usually eat at Wobbly Boots each time we go to Lake of the Ozarks, at least twice per year. It is a nice, casual place specializing in smoked and grilled meats / meals. It is very busy, especially on the weekends. This visit we both had the smoked prime rib, which is only available on Friday... More

I had the pulled pork sandwich with a baked potato and hubby had the ribeye and onion rings. The food was amazing so much flavor! The onion rings were huge! Service was very nice and fast. Drinks never went empty.
