The food just wasn't good. We gave been to dozens of Japanese fusion type restaurants and this one stands out as our least favorite.

The spicy tuna is great as well as the calamari and the St. Charles Roll! Best of all are the dirty martinis made by Brian.

From the sushi to the Hibachi, we are always pleased with our meal. Nice atmosphere & good service. Our family eats here about once a week!

We went here per request of our son for his 12th birthday. We chose the Hibachi style meal. I wish I had the option of making this a 4 1/2 star establishment. :) For a family of five, with our tip-our bill was $110. The chef was entertaining, the food was really good and we had TONS of leftovers!! All... More

These places are all the same really, they all seem to do the same routine on the cook at your table side. Kitiaro doesn't seem to season the food as much as other places like this. Plus, it's loud. Regardless, the food is still good and you get a lot of it...it's not cheap though.

There are better choices for Japanese Food. We ate there with family at the Habachi. This was my first visit there and it was just average. The fried rice was no better than the take out Chinese we usually have. The rest of the food was just OK. If you want the best Japanese food I would suggest trying somewhere... More

I love sushi...the kids? Not so much - except my kid's friend Chloe. Gotta love Chloe because Chloe loves Sushi! So last week when no one could agree on where to eat, everyone else ordered Pizza. Chloe and I called our order in to Kitaro...Crab Roll, Deluxe Crab Roll, Salmon Salad...it was EXCELLENT! I have eaten in there for the... More

We always eat at the hibachi and the cook is entertaining. Lots of food which make great left overs. One of my favorites.

You can see how bored the cooks think the so called show is. They flip shrimp around at patrons and in their ever so monotone voices do their "tricks" with matches and spatulas. Food is exactly as all the other ones I have been to. The thing that drives me nuts is how everything comes in cycles: you get your... More

The food is really quite good at Kitaro, the hibachi chefs are entertaining. The lunches, even at the hibachi tables are reasonable. Dinner hibachi is a bit more expensive. The biggest problem with this restaurant is the deafening sound level. This is not the place to go for a quiet meal and conversation.
