Went for the first time yesterday. The food and the atmosphere were excellent. Can't wait to go back to try Sunday lunch. On the top the live music was brilliant (the Soozuns). I wish my local pub was as good as that. Thank you very much

a very friendly lady took our phone booking. However on arrival we wanted to change our table as it was by the door but the bloke behind the bar (the owner) was less than attentive. Luckily his younger female assistant was more friendly and she served us. The steak and ale (shortcrust) pie was substantial but the portions of chips... More

This is a really good pub. I've been many times and the service is always friendly and staff make an effort to talk to you. The food is excellent and a good variety of choice, the wait may sometimes be slightly longer but this is because its freshly prepared (as a sign in the pub does politely let you know... More

One of the best Steak & Kidney Puddings I have had the pleasure of devouring. Lovely old Pub. Lovely spot in the Kent Countryside. Good service. My friends and I were very happy.

We were reccomended by another tripadvisor that The George Inn was good, and they were not wrong. The welcome from the barmaid was refreshing, the food good and served quickly. We sat in the garden which was large and very pleasant. The pub sits in the centre of a typical old Kentish village with a lovely old church. All in... More

We had a party of nearly 40 people. The food was lovely and so was the service. The whole evening ran very smoothly, with Pimms in the garden on arrival and a lovely presented dining room in the evening.

We were a group of 10 going for Sunday Lunch. Parking was a bit limited - parking on street was fairly easy to find. Had to wait to order. As food is freshly cooked there was an expected delay. Meals arrived together and were nice and hot with generous portions of meat. Chef kindly cooked my beef so not rare.... More
