Really fun menu of made-to-share Caribbean-influenced tapas and delicious happy hour drinks (save room for tasty deserts)! The swing seats at the bar are a bit of a novelty attraction for some (I guess), but for me, nothing beats a proper sit-down cocktail, meal, and conversation.

My wife and I easily got a reservation to this restaurant. We were intrigued by the exotic dishes on the menu (conch fritters, blackened tuna, paella), and we were not disappointed. All of the seafood was beautifully fresh and well cooked. Service was friendly, attentive, and informed. Boogaloo is a well need trip to the Caribbean in the heart of... More

Went on Saturday night for dinner and shared tapas. We had such a nice time. Friendly waitress and good food. Special for the night was fried soft shell crab we needed two orders bc they were delicious! We also really enjoyed the Brazil nut crusted manchego cheese, plantains with roasted red pepper sauce and goat cheese, New Orleans style bbq... More

Went to this restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night in November. I loved the extensive drink menu and that the menu focused on Cuban and Caribbean food. I had jerk chicken with rice and fried plantains, all of it was good and I had enough leftovers for lunch later in the week. Everyone in my party enjoyed... More

Finally tried Boogaloo after reading awesome reviews for several months and it did not disappoint. We tried the highly recommended Cuban and the Carribbean Triple Sandwich with roasted plantains on the side instead of fries. Our waitress Emily was enthusiastic and friendly--- if you are lucky enough to get one of Emily's tables, go with her recommendations. Her favorites were... More

You can go to more casual places and get so-so food or fancier more expensive places and sometimes get great food sometimes not so much. This place is flat out wonderful if you enjoy Cajun/creole, Cuban and Caribbean. Portions are more than generous but more importantly the quality and flavor are outstanding. We had the gumbo and I've made a... More

I recently went to Boogaloo with 3 other girlfriends. We ordered from their tapas menu, so we got to try multiple dishes. I have several items that I have not had at other places. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very trendy and not like any other place I had been. The wait and bar staff were also very knowledgeable... More

Dined with friends at Boogaloo over the weekend. The restaurant is located at 7344 Manchester Road on the south side of the street. From the sidewalk it does not look like much, but there is a fair amount of seating inside the restaurant and outside on the porch. Also - plenty of good parking in the lot out back. Boogaloo... My wife and I have always enjoyed dining at Boogaloo. Tonite was no exception. A beautiful evening allowed us to sit in the front of the house with the doors wide open. The street noise was not too bad this evening! My tuna was perfectly prepared with mashed potatoes, sweet potato strings and a sauce with crayfish. Very tasty. My... More

Intrigued by the promise of Cuban flavors, my husband and I enjoyed a weekday dinner here after attending a free concert in a local park. The menu is a nice mix of tapas and entrees. I enjoyed a jerk chicken wing tapas and my husband had the jambalaya. My wings were as flavorful and tasty as any I've had. The... More
