We were visiting our daughter and son-in-law and our 20 month old grandson in NE Kansas City and I wanted someplace to treat them to dinner other than another chain restaurant. We were seated quickly. (The hostess did not give us a children's menu) ... Our server arrived quickly and immediately went and got us the child's menu. She was... More

We joined a group of people for a late Sunday lunch and found that the restaurant offers outstanding happy hour appetizer options, even on Sundays. So we stocked up, trying the lightly-breaded onion rings, the fried pickles, the rock shrimp, and the wingless buffalo dip with chips. The wingless dip was cold, but the other three appetizers were outstanding. Because... More

I've been to Conrad's on several occasions in both the bar and dining areas. I prefer the dining side, personally. My favorite things to order here are the turkey club sandwich or cheese soup (which is made with beer). I have also tried the macaroni and cheese and found it to be very rich. I haven't ever had a bad... More

We were excited to try a new, recommended restaurant. The service was okay. The food was less than expected. The crabcake was soggy and had no flavor. Not interested in returning.

Very nice restaurant with a very large beer selection. The food was good and the service was prompt. The portions were very large. I especially liked the "beer flight" where you can order 4 different beers from tap to experiment with different flavors. I would certainly return if in the area again.

You will not be disappointed with the service or the food at Conrad's. Try the tenderloin sandwich, one of the best in KC

There are two sides to the business; a family type sit down casual dining room and a trendier bar or lounge area. The sit down side has a Steak and Ale feel, but the dining room was too open with tables in the middle of the foot traffic. The menu was stocked with the usual suspects and one or two... More

My wife and I like to avoid chain restaurants if we go on trips. So, we chose Conrad's. We were taken to our table right off the bat. We ordered an appetizer of onion rings that arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The portion of rings was huge, and they were some of the best onion rings I've had.... More

You won't go away hungry. I loved the crab cakes. The onion rings were a great starter. Great waitress!

A group of us ate here last weekend & the service was decent but the food was just ok. I had the turkey club sandwich which was ok but the french fries were bland & saltless. Someone else had the Buffalo chicken wings & said the sauce was lacking. Another person had the chicken fingers with a side of mashed... More
