Don't let the name fool you....

This is fine dinning with a beautiful setting. Extensive wine list! Known for their lobster tails and filet's, they also have a great mix of fresh sea food plus an amazing rack of lamb. You must save room for the molten chocolate cake! Well worth the trip!

What a wonderful time we had at The Grog! The service was 5-Star and food incredible. This is one of the best gems in the Kansas City area!

MGG was a place that had sounded interesting for several years. My Lee's Summit friends had said it was very good. Living in Kansas City it took a groupon to get us out there. The dining room has a open quality that allowed for enjoying the atmosphere -- we were not there during the outdoor season and I can see... More

I booked a table at the Galley for a Sunday evening, calling several days in advance. The owner assured us that he'd have a nice table for us. We drove 35 miles, armed with a Groupon certificate, and were shocked to find a sign on the door that they were closed for a private party. We went in and found... More

When my wife and I visit our grandkids we try to get out one night by ourselves. When we are in the mood for something special this is our destination. We have visited several times and at varying seasons. Each visit has been a joy. I do not understand the review ranting about the owner. I have found him to... More

DON'T EAT HERE!!! The owner said, "People of your kind are not welcome here." He is very hateful, discriminating man who doesn't appreciate diversity. Save your money and go elsewhere!!!

The view at Marina Grog and Galley is spectacular, it'll take you to Europe if you'll let it, that's how cozy and authentic this location is. The outside seating is wonderful, boats can dock and dine, and sometimes you might even be able to catch some live music. The menu is extensive, as is the bar. Well worth the trip... More

We have been faithful diners at the Marina for many, many years. The view could not be better, but we feel like the food has gone down hill. The prices are among the highest in the Kansas City area and for what you pay, the food should be better. We dined there last night and my wife's fish was clearly... More

We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday with a dinner 8/30/2014. It was delicious. We ate inside and had a table by the fish aquarium. There was four of us. We would go back for a special occasion or to sit outside for a lesser priced meal. With a high bill I would rather sit in nice chairs out of the... More

Local is beautiful. Lake is a delight. Food, well. Just go for drinks. Otherwise, you will have spent a fortune and you will have had just horrible food. Bread was a bit stale-tasting and out of a bag or box. Salad was worse than terrible. It consisted of some lettuce, two or three cherry tomatoes, a few croutons, and some... More
